I had finished all my assignments for the week. It felt so refreshing that I got the work for all of my subjects out the way. I never thought I could do it in the space of two days but God is good. He truly gave me a golden mind and I could not do enough to thank him for doing so. I was currently off work since I only worked on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. My employers were very cautious when giving me my working slots. They did not want me to miss my opportunity at getting a good education which I was grateful for. I was at my desk, submitting my last assignment online.
I had been snacking on some crix biscuits and cheese.

I had my snack in a small bowl. I quickly finished the rest of my snack before I got up. I proceeded to turn off my computer and leave it to charge. I then washed up my bowl before I decided to treat myself to some icecream. I would take up my phone and check the time to make sure that a grocery store was open so I could at least get a tub of icecream to last me for a while. As I checked my phone, a text came in from my instagram DM's with Casper.

I would tilt my head at his question. We had been speaking on and off for about two weeks and some days. It has been strictly platonic things we discussed. We spoke about what we wanted in life, who inspires us and other normal things. To be honest, I would consider him a friend at that point. I was a little more comfortable around him when I saw him in public.
I would usually say good morning, evening etc whenever I saw him. He was rarely with the short lady, who I now know as Romona.
I don't know what happened between them or if they were a couple at all. And it is certainly not my place to ask him. I like to mind my business. But, he never once asked me to hang out before. As I was about to reply to him, I saw frantic messages come from my aunt.
I quickly sent Casper a voicenote saying I cannot hang out before I went to me and my aunt's chat. I barely read the messages before she started calling me. I picked up immediately.
