Chapter one

The UA entrance exam
What every inspiring hero dreams of passing

I sighed as I looked up at the big gates of UA. This is gonna be hard.

I walked in analyzing everyone that I passed by.

As I watched the kids pile in i took notice to a couple of them.

There was some boy with messy yellow hair and a bold black lightning bolt striking through it. He had vibrant yellow eyes practically glowing under the sun.

I turned my head away from the yellow haired boy to notice a girl. She had pink skin with little yellow horns sticking out from her pink locks. Her eyes were something I haven't seen before, she had a black sclera instead of the normal white, which was paired with sun yellow iris's as well.

As I looked at some other students I noticed one boy who was just euphoric looking.

He had Snow White hair that the light reflected beautifully on, his hair split in half into this fiery red. His hair laid perfectly across his head settling just above his eyes.
Speaking of his eyes they were heterochromatic. His eyes were two different colors. His left eye that lay under his white hair was a dull gray while his right eye was a bright teal. As I looked at his face my breathing just hitched even more than it had already. I continued to study this mysterious boy and that's when I noticed the scar adorning his face. It complimented his already perfect face.

I quickly looked away from the boy before he and anyone else noticed, I didn't wanna be seen as a creep after all.

I continued to look around when I saw the scene of a boy who vaguely reminded me of broccoli almost face plant. I cover my mouth feeling sorry for the boy. But before he could fall an adorably cute brunette grabbed him right before he fell.
I quietly giggled to myself as I watched this scene unfold.

I decided it was time for me to go inside instead of waiting outside for everyone.

When I walked inside to my designated location I took notice of all the kids already sitting down. I looked for my assigned seat and sat down

Some time passed as I slowly drew on the desk with my finger, what startled me out of my zoned out state was a loud voice echoing through the auditorium.

"What's up U.A candidates, Thanks for tuning into me your school Dj." The voice belonged to a man with tall yellow hair. 'He must be a teacher' I thought

He shouted "come on and let me hear ya!"
Absolutely no one spoke a word

As he continued to talk I zoned out on his words not really caring much for what he had to say. My older cousin went through the exams and gave me the gist of what happens.

I took note of the card on my desk with a picture of my face. It consisted of a couple number and letters. Luckily the broccoli boy and a spiky haired blonde kid were talking about just that

I eavesdropped on them and figured out it was just telling us where to go so we can't work with our friends. 'Piece of cake' I whispered to myself.

Not like any of my friends actually had the guts to be a hero

Couple week prior

"Alright we are gonna be signing up for our high school classes, if you wish to go to another high school raise your hand"
Not a great system I know but it worked for us

Majority of the class raised their hands and when asked what high school they wanted to go to they all shouted "UA" I mean this just made our teacher laugh

She then began to explain the process in order to go through to even make it to the entrance exam and how that worked as well.

After that explanation multiple kids lowered their hands, obviously changing their minds. Only two kids kept their hands up, me and some other boy that I've never said a word too before but whatever it's not like I would actually ever have too.
His quirk wasn't all that strong

His name was Shinso. He had fluffy purple hair and sunken dark eyes bags. He was a quiet boy. I personally just never got around to talking to him but I guess I was somewhat glad I wouldn't be to alone there.

I wasn't so sure how he would make it through the exams, especially if it was a battling exam. He had a brain washing quirk, which at first seems kinda scary but he's never used it on me so I'm fine with him.

Present time

I looked over at the purple haired boy. He looked worried, I decided to say something
"Hey shinso what's got you all worked up?"
He quietly said "I'm not gonna pass this I can't brain wash a robot" I looked at him with saddened eyes
"Well maybe not but I'm sure there is another way to get in, you do have a pretty cool quirk after all" he looked down and softly said "thanks L/n" "I smiled and slightly tilted my head "yeah no problem"

Right as we finished our conversation we were released to the gates that would hold our exams. I looked around and perked up when I saw the brunette from earlier.

I decided I would say hi and I quickly walk over. " Hey were you that girl who saved that kid with green hair from falling?" I asked, I mean I knew the answer but I have to start the conversation one way or another

She looked over at me shocked and then flushed a light pink "heh yeah that was me, I'm Ochaco Uraraka" she held her hand out with a closed smile, I shook it and introduced myself as well "Y/n L/n"

We parted after introductions and waited to be told to start

Shortly after I heard the "DJ" announce we could start.

Immediately ran in.

After years of training hard by myself and even a pro (whom my family had connections too). It was time to finally show off my amazing skills

I could feel the radiation running through my veins and just like I had been taught I took a deep breath and forced all the toxic waste to the blood in my hands.

I saw a three pointer robot and grinned widely, time to show them who's boss
