Ciel's POV:
I stood in place still dumbfounded of what just happened. Then I thought about it...would I have saved Elizabeth? Why didn't I save (Y/N)? So many questions yet no answers.
" Young master, are you going to join us for dinner?"
"Yes Sabastian, I shall join you and the guest momentarly.
I then got up and walked slowly approched the dining table full of food and sat in the host seat. and after I took the first bite everyone began to eat. An akward silence began at the tabe till Elizabeth broke it with the last thhing I wanted to hear.
"Hey Ciel.
"Yes Elizabeth?'
" Remember the last question she asked you..."
"What about it?"
" Can you answer the question Ciel, would you have saved me and if you would is it for the sake of your family's name?"
Everyone stared at both me and her back and forth even my butler. When he noticed no answer she tried to encourage me to speak.
"Ciel I don't care which one you'd choose, but I want your honesty."
I took a deep breath and said, " Elizabeth the truth is I don't know. I don't know why I left her there, I don't know if I would save you, and I don't know if it would be for the sake of my family's name ok... SO WILL EVERYONE AT THIS TABLE JUST SHUT UP YOU GOBERMOUCH AND LEAVE THAT CONVERSATION OUT OF THIS OK BECAUSE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CUMBERWORLDS OK!
" Sorry for bringing it up Ciel I-"
"THAT GOES FOR YOU TO ELIZABETH DIDN'T I JUST SAY NOT TO TALK ABOUT IT? WHY CAN'T YOU STOP TALKING YOU DRIGGLE-DRAGGLE!"
(They were insults in old English times)
That was the first ime I think I've ever insulted them. And the effects of my speach was different from how I thought they would be.
Elizabeth was crying and walked over and slapped me and ran away, the butler and the maid left the room, leaving me all alone in the dining hall. Just me alone. A set table for many yet only 1 is at the table. I walked out the dining room and saw (Y/N)'s maid and Elizabeth packed and walking out the door about to leave.
"Why are you leaving here this late at night?"
"What you showed us tonight was different Phantomhive. You showed us how easily you can change when under pressure. You no longer are as you use to be, so we are leaving."
"Where will you stay motels aren't open at this hour?"
"We are spending the night at the Trancy manor.
This made me angry and I've never been this angry before in my life, yet I cooled my temper, apolgized, and waved them off.
"Well Sabastian we lost them."
" First this had nothing to do with me and as you always say young master, Something truely lost shall never return. And sometimes you'd forget how to be happy and how to smile."
His words stunned me. How does he do his job, learn everything about me, and learn my phrases at the same time? I guess I won't learn that, but I know it's time to sleep.
