Chapter 17

Ciel's POV:
Do you want to know what I feel...nothing...nothing at all. I have no problem with what has happened to me. It is a part of life isn't it, a man never truly gets exactly what he wants he gets partially what he wants and then the consequence of the choice. This is mine. I just move on with my problems,but the real question is why everything is so quiet. My servants finished their jobs, Sabastian is fixing my breakfast and earl grey tea, and I am stuck with a pile of paperwork as usual. My life has never changed. And with that their was a tap at the door.

"Enter."

The door opened revealing my butler on time as usual.

"My lord, there has been a case in London and the queen would like you to go investigate it."

"Sabastian how do you know this? Have you been reading my mail?" I said with a smirk. I bet I'm right.

Then he handed me a fully sealed envelope with the letter from the queen and smiled.

"A butler who couldn't tell you that isn't worth their salt."

"When will we be leaving Sabastian?"

"We shall depart, after your breakfast and tea, my lord."

With that he left and closed the door.

I wonder what case this is and who is involved in it. I hope I have this case alone. With that I looked don and let out a sigh...I remembered I still had paperwork on my desk...I will have a lot of work to do when I return to the manor and with that Sabastian lead me to the table and got me dressed so we could leave the manor.

(Y/N)'s POV:

"WHY WERE YOU TWO FALLING DOWN THE STAIRS!?!" I exclaimed.

I regret ever asking those two that because for the next ten minutes they were continually babbling about who ran into who, who's fault it was, and why they were falling till they looked at me.

They asked me,"Hey, why were you falling with us?"

"Because I was attempting to stop the chaos. And also, Elizabeth if you don't hurry your going to make us both late," I said.

"Ok, just let me fix my hair and dress first!" She screamed while again, running on the stairs.

"Good morning Alois." I say with a smile.

"Good morning (Y/N), by the way, may I ask where you two were heading?"

"We were going shopping at a super store that is opening downtown at 10:30 so we were leaving at 9:50 so we could make it with 30 minutes to spare, but now we will only have 15 if we leave now. Would you want to accompany Elizabeth and I today?"

"Yes I would enjoy that," he said with a small smile.

And with that Elizabeth came out of the vanity room and we headed out.

Ciel's POV:

I just got out of the bath and now Sabastian is dressing me in my black suit today..I really should get some more varieties of clothing...and maybe that pink dress out of my wardrobe. 😰Well that is something to think about after the investigation.

"Young master, is something the matter?"

"You shouldn't ask a question you already know the answer to Sabastian."

"I do remember that day...especially your part...little robin-"

"S-Shut up Sabastian!"

He just smirked and continued to button up my jacket.

With that he put my shoes on and led me to the carriage...this will be a long day.

--------2 hours later---------

That investigation ended faster than expected. I told Sabastian to go and 'take care' of the killer while I go shopping.

Your POV:

"Alois, Elizabeth slow down I can't keep up!" I yell tiredly.

"You should be the one hurrying, everything is half price only for the next hour-" Elizabeth said.

"And we haven't gotten everything we wanted yet." They said together.

So they both turned against me for shopping when we have loads of bags in our hands and about 6 shopping buggies.

Then Alois stops and tries to escape when Lizzie dragged him into the men's clothing store leaving me to drag around all these buggies. I then scanned myself down checking my appearance. I was wearing my blue and black Victorian dress with my hair in a waterfall braid with curled ends. Until I hear a familiar tune and froze..that song was the same song in my, my grandma's music box.

My mom threw it away when I was little, because she hated the song just as much as she hated my grandmother. That is a collectors item not many exist in the world. Do, I followed the song all the way to a music box store and see it priced at 200£ (or to Americans it is $306.53) I took out my wallet and paid the clerk. And he decided to have a quick conversation with me.

"So I see you have an eye for this music box. Why did you want this one?"

"Well, the song, eternal snow was playing and that song is the same one that was in my grandmother's so I bought it."

"Well kid you were lucky, this was the last one on the shelf. By the way how can you afford this anyway?"

"I guess you don't know who I am. I am Countress (Y/N) (L/N) of the (L/N) manor. A pleasure to be in your aquatince."

"Well, I should be off, before my friends start to wonder where I am, bye I hope to see you again someday."

"Wait!"

"Yes?"

"I didn't tell you my name yet. My name is Connor."

"What do you want to do later in life as a career, Connor?"

"I want to work for the funtom company. It's been a dream since I was a kid."

Hearing those words stunned me.

I said,"I hope your dream comes true," and hurried off.

I heard Alois's voice and he seemed angry so I hurried back hoping he wouldn't be that mad that I ran off. But when I got there I saw two people I thought I'd never see again Ciel Phantomhive and Sabastian. And stopped dead in my tracks.
