Cassian was tired. He knew he was tired—it was late, it was raining, he was cold and in pain. One couldn't really blame him for rushing just a little too carelessly to get home. Of course, in the same thread, one couldn't fault him for slipping. He'd misjudged the distance of his [Shadow Dash] and suddenly, faster than he could stop it, he was falling.
Cassian swore as he landed on a metal railing halfway down. His side exploded in pain as bone gave way under immovable metal. He bounced jarringly off of a few more objects before landing very unceremoniously in a heap of boxes.
"What was that?!" a female voice sounded over the roar of the rain and blood in his ears.
Of course, it would be just his luck for someone to run into him at a time like this. Winded and bruised as he was, he wasn't able to muster the strength to hide as a blur of red and pink swam into his vision. He wasn't quite able to place the faces of the two figures before promptly blacking out.

As a Psyker trainee, Uchan Kim was experienced in dealing with villains. He'd grown used to seeing them, sure, but he definitely wasn't used to them falling out of the sky outside his apartment. Naeun had been the one to notice the sound over the roar of the rain and had positively begged him to investigate. Honestly, he'd been expecting a stray cat or dog, not a person. He definitely wasn't expecting a villain either—especially not one he recognized. Even in the dark, Uchan would recognize that messy black hair and strange facial markings anywhere. This was the villain that had saved not only him but also his sister, Naeun.
"Uchan? Is it another cat?" Naeun piped up from where he'd left her on the street.
"No. It's uh. . ." Uchan wasn't really sure what to say.
"Oh hey isn't that the villain who beat the shit out of Bloodrain the other day?" Naeun's voice suddenly sounded from behind him, causing him to jump. He hadn't heard her come up.
"1) language and 2) yes. Yes, it is."
"Well is he ok?" Naeun peered at the unconscious villain from over her brother's shoulder.
"Uh, well he fell from the roof I think so I'd say probably no," Uchan replied.
"We're helping him."
"How did I know you were gonna say that?" Uchan let out a heavy sigh. He'd never hear the end of it from her if he just left the villain to bleed out in the rain.
He handed Naeun the umbrella and crouched down to heave the villain over his shoulder. For someone so tall, the kid was surprisingly light, though a little awkward to carry with the large gauntlets on his arms and one of his legs. Uchan hoisted the villain over his shoulder in a flour sack carry and turned back to his sister.
"Ok let's make this quick."
If Uchan had thought that the villain was light at first, he was sorely mistaken. After carrying the dead weight up four flights of stairs to the apartment his legs and arms felt like they were on fire. He dropped the kid very unceremoniously on the couch as soon as Naeun got the door open.
"Uchan! Be careful with him!" Naeun scolded, smacking him across the arm, though not hard enough to actually hurt him.
"Naeun, he's a villain. He's probably had worse." Uchan rolled his eyes, though he respected his sister's wishes and was more delicate as he adjusted the villain so he was better propped up against the arm of the couch.
He still couldn't really wrap his head around the fact that he had willingly brought a villain into his house. Uchan grabbed the throw blanket off the back of the couch and half heartedly threw it over the villain.
