Brother Dearest, Avalon.

ACT I: #006 Arc; Chapter 1

Chapter 1: #006

"Big bro, what's that?"
Anzu pointed at the horizon
"No! Let's get out of here!" Avalon shouted as he grabbed Anzu. Dropping the stick, the scene then transitions to a first person view of someone holding a piece of stick over the fire, it's Avalon. Now known as #006, he sat near a tree with a campfire next to him, on his left there's a black sword with a glowing green tip stabbed on to the ground he has a number brand on his wrist "006"

"..." Avalon sat there quietly as he remembers that very stick he used to play with as a child. He then broke off half of the stick he's holding and threw it onto the fire. It's quiet here aside from the moths creaking into the night and the fire cracking.

Suddenly a bush ruffled startling Avalon as he reached for his sword.

Turns out it was just a boar, Avalon just ignored it. But he got hungry so he threw the sword at the boar and the scene transitions to a boar kebab over the fire and Avalon ate it as dinner. Avalon climbed the tree he was on and slept.

[Avalon POV]
The next day...

Location: Ghanddal Forest

"Ugh.."
I got up slowly as the sunlight hits my fave

I grabbed my sword, and extinguished the campfire then washed my face nearby a stream of water

As I was walking around, I noticed a faint speck of smoke, then ran over to said smoke

I saw there was a recently extinguished fire and next to it was..

"A.. Jetpack? Its.. Lunarian Tech?"
I said with uncertainty
"What's this tech doing he-"
I got interrupted by an axe flying above my head
"Woah!"
As the axe hit a tree beside him
"Raah!"
A kid hopped out of a bush, holding a branch started attacking me

**WHACK**

"AH! You little shit!"
I said angrily as i unsheathed my sword

**Whoop**

I managed to dodge the incoming attack and sliced the branch in half then back kicking the boy in the stomach

"Kshk"
The kid flew into the tree and crashed in the bark

I closed the distance with the kid then pointed the sword in his throat
"What the hell? What's a kid doing with Lunarian technology? Are you sent by the phantoms!?"

If he truly was, I swear I will..

Just then the kid used a terminal disguised as a watch and the jetpack suddenly flew towards the kid and opened the sides revealing saws, distracting me as the I dodged the incoming jetpack and the saws retract as the kid equipped it

"Do not compare me to phantom scum!"
The kid growled

"I've killed the other hunters who came after me, so stay out of my way!" The kid rode the board and rushed towards me

I took a battle stance and engaged

The kid rushed towards me with unrelenting speed, the kid jumped in the air, the kid then reached for a gun and fired at me in which I retaliated by deflecting it

The kid then tried to circle around me, I slashed at a random direction and hit the jetpack

Unfortunately for the kid, one of the thrusters of the jetpack got damaged and got sent flying, tagging me along and dragging me across the forest

The kid got ahold of the jetpack and bashed me

"Gah!" I went flying at the bush hard causing dirt and debri to fly

I then threw the sword from the smoke distracting the kid

I then jumped and got ahold of the kid's right leg and threw him to the ground

I tried to follow up an attack with a kick but unfortunately for me.. The kid used his watch and I got hit by the jetpack that he commanded

"That jetpack.. It's controlled by that kid's watch.. I need to close distance."

Then suddenly the jetpack opened up revealing an automated machine gun

"Ah crap-"

I tried to parry unfortunately the sharpnel of the bullet suddenly scattered, and scratched my forehead

I ran towards the trees and bushes to hide and flank him

I went and appeared behind the kid and slashed one of the thrusters causing the entire jetpack to lose control

As the two of us fought mid-air for control the kid managed to kick me off of him, I then stabbed my sword in the tree to save myself

The kid tried to gain control his jetpack but then it exploded knocking the kid a few meters

"Big bro!" A sudden memory came across me as I saw the kid reaching his hand out

I leapt in to save him

"AH!"

I threw kid to a tree

"Just kill me.. All of you hunters are the same..."
"I don't care about your bounty."
I sheathed my sword

"Just tell me where you got these, I'm looking for someone else."
I threw the broken jetpack Infront of the kid
"... Wait, you're not a bounty hunter? But you attacked me.."
Why is this brat looking shocked?

"BOY, YOU THREW AN AXE AT ME, EVEN IF I WANTED YOU DEAD, YOU WOULD'T HAVE BEEN ALIVE HERE AND NOW!"

I swear this kid sure is a piece of work.. I might as well sell him out- Wait no I'm not that heartless

" *sigh* Forget it, go home. This isn't a place for kids."
I walked away, having enough of this kid's shenanigans

"Hey, what about my jetpack, huh!? Do you even know how long it took to build this!?"
The kid shouted

"Fine.. There's a guy who sells Lunarian Tech in the Grendazedata Valley, but you'll need me there, he won't sell it to anyone else!"
The kid added

"I'll take my chances, go home kid."

"I don't have a home.. They'll torture me if I go back."

Ahh damn it, this kid sure is a piece of work..

*Sigh* "...Keep up then."

"Okay.."
The kid said, then shortly followed me out of the forest

A/N: Chapter 1 done, from here on out. The adventure will start, this story will be getting a rewrite by the way
