Author Pov:

As they entered the practice room at the afternoon again, Jeongin felt a wave of nervousness wash over him. The familiar faces of his Stray Kids friends greeted him, their expressions filled with worry..

"Hey, Jeongin, how you feeling?" Seungmin asked, his voice full of concern.

Jeongin tried to smile, but his anxiety weighed heavily on him. "I'm okay, just tired you know it's the second practise of the day, it's pretty tiring."

Chan glanced at him, understanding in his eyes. He knew how hard things were for Jeongin, and he was determined to be there for him.

As they began their practice, Jeongin felt his anxiety rising. The movements felt awkward and strange, his body refusing to cooperate. He stumbled and tripped, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Jeongin, you're off again," Minho said, frustration evident in his voice. "You need to focus."

Jeongin nodded, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. He knew he needed to do better, to overcome his fears. He doesn't want to be scolded by his dance Hyung 24/7. It doesn't really help with his anxiety, even tho he knows Minho doesn't really mean to be strict, he just wants to help.

But as he struggled, Chan stepped in telling Minho to stop the music, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It's okay," Chan said softly. "Just take a deep breath and try to relax."

Jeongin followed Chan's lead, focusing on his breathing and trying to calm his racing heart. Slowly, he felt the tension begin to ease, replaced by a sense of calm, as well as butterflies rising in his tummy.

As they continued their practice, Jeongin found himself mirroring Chan's movements, following his lead with attention. And as the session drew to a close, he felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him, as well as relief from the never ending practise day.

As they left the practice room, Chan wrapped an arm around Jeongin's shoulders, offering him a comforting squeeze. "You did great today, Innie," he said with a smile. "I'm proud of you."

Jeongin felt a surge of gratitude swell within him, his heart full of love for the older boy. Smiling, with a glimpse of blush on his cheeks he nods "Thanks Hyung"

As they parted into different vans and dorms. Jeongin fell into a silence again. His thoughts wandering to the back of his mind.

Arriving at the dorm, Jeongin straight goes into his room laying on the bed filled with cute little plushies.

A silent shout was heard downstairs, it was from Felix, asking Jeongin wether he had eaten or not. Jeongin wasn't hungry at all, nor was he in the mood talking to his members, so he simply said he was going to eat later, even if he was sure he wouldn't.

Little did he know that Felix messaged Chan that Jeongin didn't budge to eat, as the older requested him to do.
Chan wasn't going to let Jeongin slip away that easily, he wanted to make sure he's doing good, even if this meant he has to hold an eye open all the time.

Chan adored the younger one, if Jeongin was happy, so was he.

But what Chan may not realise, is that the the adoration he felt toward the other may be much deeper than he thought it is.
