(a/n: a sketch of Azumi so far:D)

AFTER TRAVELING for some quiet time they finally arrived in their destination, Kyoto, Mizu takes off his glasses for a moment as they gaze at the marvelous view at the city below them.

"It's gorgeous." Azumi said, as she opened her eyes, looking at the city, let out a sigh.

"It is." Mizu said, as he put back his glasses on. "Come, the faster we get there, the faster we get to Heiji Shindo." He states, taking Azumi's hand as she holds his hand back, closing her eyes once again.

"Come on, people. Keep it moving, Let's go."

They were now at the entrance, waiting in line to enter. As a little girl, holding her mother's hand looked back at them, but then hid by her mother's side. Azumi held Mizu's hand in comfort.

"Next!"

It was the mother and little girl's turn, as the mother held a few baskets while the girl hid behind her. As the mother handed the guard, what seemed to be an old travel pass, the guard observed it for a moment before rolling his eyes.

"This travel pass is invalid." He said.

"It's my husband's." The mother whispered.

"It's invalid without him." The guard whispered back. "Next!" He yelled.

"He died. I make the baskets. He only sold them." She explained. "Please, or I can't feed my children." She pleaded, as she set the baskets down.

The guard only sighed, "You know the rules. Women can't travel without a chaperone." He explained, as the woman kneels down before him. "Next!"

The woman sobs in despair, as it was Mizu and Azumi's turn. "Travel pass." The guard demanded.

Mizu took out 6 coins from his cloak as Azumi held his left shoulder, acting as if she was a blind woman. The guard took the coins as he let them enter. Mizu looked down behind him as the mother and the child were both kneeling down to guard. Azumi can't bear to hear the woman's sobs, let alone witness it.

"Please!" She sobbed, and the little girl looked at Mizu. Mizu closed his eyes as he couldn't do anything about it. Only holding Azumi's hand, in comfort. Now entering Kyoto.

Kyoto is a bustling City, as they walked in, Mizu looked from left to right looking for the dojo. As he starts to ask the people around them.

"Excuse me, would you perhaps be able to tell me where-" He was cut off, as the person ignored him.

"Excuse me sir, could you help us find the-" Azumi asked an old man but he ignored her.

They heard the sound of hooves when suddenly 3 men, on horses, stopped right at them. "Watch it, asshole." The man in the middle said.
