Octavia looked out her window and sighed. The methodic tapping of rain hitting her apartment's window annoyed her.
Every Wednesday, Octavia went to her local coffee shop to study. The clinking of spoons, soft chatter, and dim lighting soothed her.
But on this particular day, it was storming terribly. If she were to leave her apartment to go to the café, her laptop and the thin crochet bag she used to carry it would get soaked.
She turned back to the desk, computer, and papers in front of her and sighed once again.
She'd just have to wait until the stupid storm cleared.
