My jaw drops.
I shake my head enthusiastically.
"Girlfriend??" I ask.
He nods.
"Nuh uh. Oh HELL naw. Ain't no fucking way" I exclaim.
Wi Ha Joon groans.
"FINE. Then what else do you recommend? I can't seem to think of anything else. And since you're so revolted by the suggestion, why don't you come up with something?"
"NO shit, sherlock. Of course im gonna be revolted. What, you expect me to be all like 'yeeahh I'lll be your girlfriend sweetie'"??
He rolls his eyes.
"Okay. I don't see that happening either "
"Exactly" I say.
All three of us just sit in silence, in deep thought.
If I wasn't revolving around this mess, I would've been laughing out loud right now.
The third guy who was somehow still relevant spoke up.
"What do you say?" He says , looking at me.
Wow. That's so helpful. Thanks.
Ha Joon interrupts.
"I'm telling you there's no other opt-"
"HEY. No. Stop. " I say.
He looks at me, annoyed.
"I could be like- your assistant. Like your PA.
Or, I could be your personal editor or some shit like that.
Anything that doesn't involve me being romantically associated with you in any way, please " I say, all in one breath.
Wi Ha Joon just sternly glares at me, as I realise how that sounded. But he deserves it. Idc.
The third guy was trying hard to not laugh.
"I'm sorry , why are you here again?" I ask.
He shrugs.
Fair point.
Why am I here either?
Cuz that's just how life is for me.
The wrong places at the wrong goddamn time.
"Hey, but, those guys already probably saw me, right? So i shouldn't be too conspicuous. But if I'm always around you thats gonna make things fucking difficult, right?" I ask.
He groans.
"7 years of working in this field, and yet this is somehow the most stressful decision I've had to make." He says, grabbing his head.
"Well, you've got me, the harbinger of stress and misfortune here. So, lo behold" I say.
I tend to talk more when I'm losing my shit.
