Dumbledore told Lily and James on the night of the attack that Kiara is a squib. And to keep her safe they have to send her away to keep her safe just in case if Tom came back! What if that was a lie! What if it was Dumbledore that tried to kill Harry. Since Kiara is older she would remember what happened and Harry would not. He lied to the Potters.
