Glacier knew that his performance on the combat training ground was never as strong as Isaac's. Somehow, it was a different story in their theoretical knowledge lessons, like humanistic studies and primary education classes they had taken. Isaac was sleepy while learning, whereas Glacier could recite Homer's epic poems and discuss historical cause and effect with their master. When Isaac could not play the guitar and sing beautiful songs like Camus did, Hyoga could pick up the skills quickly.  

It turns out that all the knowledge he has gained has proven beneficial even though he had always believed that being adept at studying these things did not qualify one to be a knight; the young knight resumed his long, deliberate speech after recalling what he could remember from the history books:

"The French Revolution only lasted 26 years, from 1789 to the restoration of the Bourbon dynasty in 1815; the British bourgeois revolution lasted for 15 years, from its victory in 1645 to the restoration of the Stuart dynasty in 1660. The Paris Commune of 1871 lasted only 72 days, the Jacobin Republic lasted over a year, the Bavarian Soviet Republic, which was established following the November Revolution in Germany, lasted slightly longer than half a month, and the Hungarian Soviet Republic, which was established on September 21st, lasted longer than four months in March of the same year. Moreover, the Soviets adopted a new system that persisted for decades. Isn't human society moving forward with difficulty? Haven't the working conditions for laborers today really improved over the past 100 years? Human society is always evolving both in terms of humanities and technology. Unless... one day, a nuclear war is started, but as knights, we could completely prevent them from doing this."  

"Your rebuttal is excellent, although it seems you missed something here..." After pausing to consider whether it was proper to share too many facts with his pupil, Camus chose to tell him more at this point.In this case, he thinks the boy needs to grow up even though he is still young:

Furthermore, the contemporary political structure seems to be more democratic and advanced but hardly achieves policy sustainability, especially since some of the leaders who are promoted from the bottom to the top are easily lost in short-term results and personal interests, which also makes these people more susceptible to manipulation by the consortium that behind the scenes, unlike the feudal dynasty lords in the past who were family-style management that had an apparent long-term pursuit of the policy bottom line and had a deep obsession and understanding of governance.
