Keigo had learned a lot of things about Tenko Shimura in the years that passed. For one, Tenko and Shigaraki both had temper tantrums when they didn't get their way. For two, Tenko loved to draw. Keigo went out of his way to steal any supplies he could for the friend he considered his brother, just to watch the blue-haired boy's face light up each time he did. So many things about his little brother that made him entirely different from Shigaraki. Shigaraki Tomura was built from hatred. Tenko was just hurt and lost. But Keigo would make sure Tenko never got hurt again, just as Tenko would destroy everything for Keigo.

“Hey Kei? What’s taking so long?” Tenko knocked on his room door. “We gotta go, it's almost time.” The one thing that annoyed Keigo was the whining. There was way too much whining. Keigo tossed his slippers in some corner of the room, replacing them with black combat boots. “Settle down Ten, I'm almost done.” He yawned slightly, not thinking he'd ever get used to the schedule.

Being a vigilante was one thing, finding time to fight crime was another. Keigo had tried his best to convince Tenko that they should fight during the day. Apparently, Tenko had a whole list of reasons why being a vigilante during the day was bad. And when Keigo still didn't cave, he had threatened to take away all of his 'Pretty things' as Keigo called them.(it's mostly just a collection of shiny glass, random flowers and weeds, rocks and anything else Keigo considered to be the best thing in the world) This schedule however, didn't help when Keigo decided to go out and ̶S̶t̶e̶a̶l̶ buy food or other necessities for their little warehouse.

The warehouse had been a team effort. They had rebuilt it together and Keigo thought they did pretty good for a 8 year old and 9 year old. "KEIGO I SWEAR I WILL BREAK DOWN THIS DOOR SO HELP ME." Keigo jumped and rushed for his door before it was knocked off its hinges. For a scrawny 12 year old, Tenko was reasonably strong and for some reason, took way too much joy in destroying Keigo's door. "ALRIGHT! Alright. I'm leaving, don't bust down my door again."
Tenko looked way too smug watching a grumbling Keigo walk out of his room. Kegio flicked the younger kid on the arm. "Fuck you." Tenko only shrugged and walked off towards the roof of the warehouse. He sighed and followed the kid. Vigilantism wasn’t an easy task. Criminals were sometimes too strong or sometimes they had run-ins with the police or underground heroes. But it was a good thing they had luck(and Keigo’s wings) on their side.

‘11:00’

Tenko hummed in satisfaction. Kei and him had split up in hopes of accomplishing more that way. Tenko had taken a route into the city of Hiroshima, while Keigo had flown somewhere far (perks of having wings). The whole goal was just to round up as many criminals without getting caught themselves. Was it dangerous for a 12 year old to fight crime alone? Yes. But Tenko always had his quirk in case something went wrong. He fiddled with his gloves absentmindedly. The world was rotten and poisoned; Tenko and Keigo were trying to fix it one night at a time.

Tenko lazily hopped rooftop to rooftop whilst keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity. This was an easy night. There had There had barely been any criminals out that night for whatever reason, but it made Tenko’s job easier. That way, he could enjoy the cool night air on his skin. The stars were shining through the night sky, seeming to compete with eachother to be the brightest in the sky.

Actually, it seemed too bright. There was a blue glow far too bright to be a star in the midnight sky. Tenko stopped as he was about to jump onto the next roof. The cause of the blue glow seemed to be fire? Tenko tensed, debating whether to check it out or not. Well, fuck it I guess. All self safety was kinda thrown out the window as Tenko started his descent from the building he had seen the flames from, rushing to catch whoever was responsible. Keigo would scold him and tell him to leave it be, that he was the adult in the situation( despite being 13) and that all decisions were up to him. But, Keigo wasn't around right now. As Tenko peeked into the alleyway of the flames, he saw a small boy that looked about his age. The boy sported white hair and scarred arms. Tenko watched as the boy held a ball of blue fire in his hand. What the- Tenko squinted to the corner of the alley to see a big guy with what looked like gems growing out of his body. The white haired
boy scoffed and stepped closer. "I'll ask you again.." The boy started, every word dripping with venom. "Hand the lady over." The flames in his place seemed to brighten with his threat. Tenko cringed back from them. Tenko knew he should have run by now but he was captivated by the scene in front of him. Tenko knew also that Keigo would have started making an even bigger scene after just looking at the boy. The man with spikes growled and eyed the flames dancing in the boy's hand. This continued for a couple of heartbeats that felt like years. Finally, the man grabbed a gem from his arm and smashed it on the ground, releasing a middle-aged woman who was breathing heavily. The guy scowled at the boy, fists tightening. "Yer better watch yer step boy, one day someone will come n' beat yer ass." The blue flames dissipated and Tenko could hear the smug smirk on the boy's face. "They could try."

Tenko watched as the woman thanked the boy profusely and offered to walk him home or something to eat. He also watched as the boy refused and convinced the lady he would be alright. The boy turned after the lady left as well as the man. He sighed and started walking towards Tenko. The streets of Hiroshima were dark, so Tenko assumed the boy hadn't seen him. But he was in the boy's way, Tenko couldn't move. It was like some sort of quirk had rooted him to stay in his position. Predictably, the boy bumped into him and proceeded to try and light him on fire. Once he realized Tenko was a child, and in fact, would not hurt him. He started asking questions. And questions were annoying. They always were, in Tenko's point of view. The white haired(maybe friend?) boy stood slightly over him and crossed his arms.

"So, who are you? And where's your family?"
