It had been over three months since I met Walker and we just kept getting closer. We saw each other everyday at school and would most days we'd have dinner at one of our houses. On the weekends we would hang out with Luke and Eloise and I'd met some of his famous friends too other FaceTime. My following had also grown a lot because people knew we were best friends which was a pro and a con. However today was the day my family flew out to (home country/state) to go see my grandparents. And tomorrow me and Walker would fly out to LA. But for now I was saying my goodbyes.

"Okay Bethany remember if you need anything CALL ME. You know what call me every single morning and evening."
"Jen she'll be okay don't worry. She's responsible and so is Walker. Plus they're staying with an adult."
"Yes but we haven't met him Alan!"
"I promise you Mum, Charlie's lovely."
"You haven't met him either Bethany!"
"Hey Mum, I'm gonna get Poppy in the car." My siblings came downstairs
"BYE BETHANY I WILL MISS YOU!" I gave my little sister the biggest hug,
"I will miss you too Pops." My parents were arguing over my wellbeing in the kitchen now,
"Come here," my brother pulled me in for a hug, "You're gonna smash it."
"Thank you." I was glad somebody actually remembered the purpose of my trip.
"And in the meantime you get to spent all week with your boo boo bear."
"Okay get out that's gross." He laughed at me and followed Poppy into the car, my mum followed them giving me a quick half-hug
"Call me!"
"I will!"
"Bethany,"
"Yes Dad?"
"Take good care of yourself okay? I know you're responsible but LA's a big place."
"Yeah I know."
"I'll miss you sweetie"
"I'll miss you too Dad." He hugged me quick and then joined the rest of them. I waved to Poppy as they drove it. I guess that was it, I was alone. Wait... I was alone!
I called Walker and told him to come over straight away, we decided to invite Luke and Eloisetoo for a sleepover.

"Hey girl I brought snacks!!"
"Eloise I love you so much,"
"I brought my bubbly self," Luke joked
"You call yourself bubbly?"
"More bubbly than you Walker,"
"Calm down girls let's be civil," Eloise put all the snacks down on the table, "I say we set up a blanket fort in the living room,"
"We must be twins because I've already done that." I took them all into the living room where Walker had help me set up a blanket fort with fairy lights and cushions and snacks and most importantly, a good view of the TV.
"Did you do all this by yourself?"
"No, Walker helped I guess?"
"You guess?! I literally did 96% of it while you criticised it."
"Mhm keep telling yourself that."
We all got comfy and then we tried to pick a film,
"10 things I hate about you." Eloise already hit the jackpot,
"Ooo yes!"
"Absolutely not." Luke protested
"Fine, Tangled."
"Deadpool." We all stared at him.
"Walker we watched it last time."
"And the time before that."
"I vote we watch anything Walker's been in."
"Luke stop it. I'm not watching myself."
"Guys guys guys, what about a musical?" I suggested,
"Bethy girl I love you but you're the only theatre kid. Well, and Walker."
"Deadpool."
"What about a TV show?"
"Deadpool."
"A 90s film?"
"Deadpooollll!" Walker started chanting it now,
"Oh my god."
"WALKER SHUT UP!" Eloise screamed, "Let's just watch Deadpool."
"YESS"
"For the millionth time?" Luke complained, but we all just watched it because it is a good film.
"Fuck wolverine..." Walker started reciting the lines along with the film, Eloise was asleep on Luke's lap and Luke was trying to drown Walker out, I just laughed at him, when he was done I gave him a high five and rested my head on his shoulder and he put his arm around me,
"I never fail to impress."
