About 20 minutes ago a flash flood warning came through and Derrick started to evacuate the club to make sure all the customers were out and he could close up. "I really hope this lets up soon and it's just them being dramatic." Zuri spoke up as we both looked out the front windows.

It was like Mother Nature was pissed we were warned because the sky's seemd to open up and produce a torrential downpour. "All the customers have cleared out everyone can go home." Derrick spoke up from behind the bar.
Khimaya didn't come to work today. She has the flu so I took an Uber to work since I'm having some engine problems again. I doubt I could get one now. I need a new car. I looked over at Derrick walking towards his office and I walked in his direction causing him to stop. "Hey um since Khimaya didn't come tonight I need a ride home because I know ubers aren't out. Can you give me a ride to get Liv then home? I don't mean to inconvenience you."
"Oh it's no problem. Check to make sure it's not flooded over there. Last time Khimaya couldn't get out for two days." I looked at my phone and there was a text from Khimaya 10 minutes ago.
