Anne Leibovitz, listening to one of Kirana's songs, says, "Is this Thai music? Thai pop?"
"I know, right? The first time I heard it, I didn't expect it'd be Thai music."
She usually doesn't really enjoy such music, but the mix of soft ballads and bedroom-style indie pop makes something in herself intriguing. The music is delicate yet powerful, designed to tug at the heartstrings and elicit a sense of vulnerability. The instruments employed are often understated, with piano or acoustic guitar providing a soothing backdrop. The heartfelt words, combined with the gentle melodies, create a profound and memorable listening experience. Mixing with bedroom-style indie pop brings a dreamy and intimate quality to the forefront; it creates a soundscape that explores the depths of emotions, providing listeners with introspective, intimate, and soul-stirring musical experiences.
"Her music really fits my style of photography," Anne said. She's an American photographer who's best known for her portraits, which often feature subjects in intimate settings and poses. Through her lens, she has immortalized individuals in moments of vulnerability, strength, and raw emotion, using light, composition, and context to convey narratives that transcend the mere image.
Famous for her distinctive style and ability to connect with her subjects, Leibovitz's portraits often reflect a profound understanding of the complexity of human nature. Her photographs have graced the pages of prestigious magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Rolling Stone, pushing the boundaries of conventional portraiture and paving the way for new possibilities in visual storytelling. Leibovitz's photographs are known for their theatricality, dramatic lighting, and meticulous attention to detail. Her subjects range from celebrities and public figures to everyday people, each captured with an intimate and often thought-provoking approach. Her portraits have a way of transcending mere representation, delving into the depths of the human spirit, and revealing a glimpse of the innermost emotions of her subjects.
Throughout her career, Annie Leibovitz has received numerous accolades and awards for her contributions to the art of photography. Her impact extends beyond the realm of still imagery, as she has also ventured into the world of documentary filmmaking, bringing her unique perspective and storytelling abilities to the screen.
"Her wife is very beautiful too."
"I want to take their picture." Anne said, "Please call them."
"Payment?"
"You deal with it; I want to take their picture." Anne left it with her assistant. Anne's name is big in the industry; people, artists, or political figures wanted to be photographed by her. And when she wanted to take a photograph of others, she found her muse and wanted to memorize it into a photograph.
"When?"
"As soon as possible, I'm willing to stay longer in Bangkok." She stops talking and stares at her assistant. "Find where she is now; let's go see them."
"Huh?"
Kirana's assistant calls her when she's in her studio with Mai; at first, she doesn't want to answer because she still has a week more for a day off and she doesn't want anything to disturb her. She's still in the honeymoon phase; she wanted to kick Mai out of her penthouse originally, but the woman has a solid reason to disturb her older cousin. She wanted Kirana to sing one of her songs, and she needed Kirana's skill.
"Can we do this after my day off? Next week?"
"No, I can't do it."
"Why?"
"P'Rana, let me in."
"I don't want to." Kirana still doesn't open her door; they're talking via intercom.
