The sun was just starting to rise when Jay bumped into Youngseo in the kitchen. "Sorry. I didn't know anyone else would be awake." Jay apologized.

"Why are you awake? I didn't plan on waking the house up for a few more hours." Youngseo laughed.

"They would starve and never get anywhere if I didn't play mother hen. They are ridiculous in the mornings, especially Jake, Ni-Ki, and Sunoo. Not morning people at all." He laughed, pulling the ingredients needed for breakfast out of the fridge and setting them on the counter to come to room temperature while he brewed some coffee.

"Answer me honestly, where did your brothers go? Would they try freeing the families or would they head straight for Yunah and her friends?" Youngseo asked.

"Last night I would have said the families, but I'll bet he chose the latter. Coffee?" He offered. She nodded gratefully accepting the steaming cup.

"What are you planning on doing to help us get our brothers back? They wouldn't just leave unless there was a good reason for it." He stared at her, studying her.

"Those fool girls don't even realize that I can track them by their puzzle pieces. We will be able to get at them any time I desire. As for your brothers, if they will not come back willingly, you will have to escort them back by force." Youngseo smiled darkness crossing the features of her face.

"If you expect us to take Heeseung, the Ace, and Jungwon the speedster by force, you're as crazy as they say you are! He's our eldest and our leader, you don't fight that course, you just go with it. Good luck with all that, but I will not participate if I'm going to hurt one of my brothers or someone innocent. I'm not wired that way." He replied, cooking now.

"You don't have a choice. All of you signed on with me the second Heeseung signed the contract." Snapping her fingers, she materialized a scroll out of thin air and held it out for him. Jay took it, read it, and laughed at it.

"What's so funny?" she asked.

"You didn't pay close attention to what he signed. This isn't the first time he's done this." Jay smiled.
She ripped the contract from his hands.

"What are you talking about? He signed it right in front of me. I watched him sign every letter. How did he do this?" She thundered, rocking the house, sending dust and plaster raining down all over Jay's breakfast ingredients, ruining them. He sighed loudly, clearly annoyed.

"Since you have no contract, you should leave. Before 5 hangry vampires take out their frustrations on the one who ruined their breakfast, is trying to manipulate them, and use them to attack and kidnap innocent families, for what purpose? What have you gained, Youngseo?" Jay asked, eyes flashing. She couldn't remember the last time she had to walk away with her tail between her legs. Heeseung would pay for this.

"What's your decision, stay and fight, or leave and fight another day?" Jay asked. The sound of his brothers approaching quickly kicked her fight into flight. With a clap, she was gone.

"Why did you let her go? Heeseung would have snapped her neck like a twig. Some leader you are." Hoon laughed.

"I have a feeling this defeat was a significant one, she didn't even realize Heeseung compelled her to see what he wanted her to see, and not what was," Jay replied.

"Are you going to call him and Won or shall I?" Hoon asked.

"Nah, just let them do what they want, we will be here when they decide to come back. He still needs to make it right with Yunah and her friends before he can come home. That has always been his way." Jay smiled.

"What are we going to do for breakfast?" Jake whined.

"Let's go out, my treat?" Jay said grabbing his keys.
