MELISSA POV
I hate myself for leaving Robyn alone with that monster. I hate myself for being a coward and staying in my room while she fought him all night. And I hate myself for letting him lie in wait to prey on her when she got home from her date.

I wanted to be mad at Aubrey. If he had just gone inside with her, he could have protected her from Chris. But I couldn't blame him. It wasn't his fault. He had tried to help her, but she just shut the door on him.

I wanted to blame Kae too. But out of everyone involved, she had the least blame on her. She had tried to tell the truth, but no one listened to her.

"Her car is gone." Aubrey pointed out as we neared the door. "So is his."

That was promising if anything. That meant she at least left on her own. Chris didn't force her into his car, but that didn't mean he didn't chase her down.

"Where do we go next?" Karrueche asked.

"We don't. We check for signs of struggle, then we check Chris' home and anywhere Robyn frequents." Aubrey responded tactfully. "Do you mind if I go in alone?"

I shook my head and handed him the keys. I didn't want to know if Robyn had to physically escape Chris, but dammit I prayed that she didn't.

But I was drawn to the door. I wanted and I needed to see that visually it was alright.

I handed the dog leash to Karrueche and funneled inside the house.

The living room looked identical to how it did when I left besides the clothing. I could only assume that they had gotten dressed and departed separately. At least I hoped so.

I could hear Aubrey moving around in the kitchen, so I headed up the stairs.

Robyn's room was absolutely destroyed. There were clothes thrown about everywhere. Her suitcase was sitting on the bed, with the flap open. There were a few clothes stashed inside but they were wet with what smelled like alcohol.

A bottle of ciroc was sitting on the table with an empty glass turned on its side next to it.

I couldn't help but laugh. Robyn was always spilling her drink.

Her iPhone 6 was lying under a bra at the end of her bed. Wherever Robyn was headed, she was in a hurry. But where was she going?

"Do you think he forced her to leave?"

".. No I-I don't think so.. She was trying to pack and get away from him or something. But none of her luggage is missing."

"Do you think something startled her? It looks like she was in a rush to get out of here."

"I just wish I knew what."

"Melissa, it's not your fault. We're gonna get this guy. We're gonna save her."

I wish I could believe him. I desperately wanted too. No. I needed to believe him. Robyn was my best friend in the entire world. If she d- ... I couldn't lose her.

RIHANNA POV
CRAZY. This was absolutely crazy. I wanted to tell Mel all about this and I would after I was Mrs. Christopher Maurice Brown.

There was no telling how his crazy ass ex would react to our marriage and I honestly don't think I could care less. Chris and I could move into a more secure home with a doorman or a security system. Something that would protect us from her. Mel could come too or she could get a new apartment. I just wanted her to be as happy as I am.

"I didn't pack any clothes." I admitted finally. "I don't have anything except my ID and debit card."

Chris laughed. "You don't need anything. I can buy anything you need."
