Dabi woke up early in the morning, determined to surprise Y/n with a delicious breakfast. He had been planning the night before, wanting to do something special for his beloved girlfriend .
He quietly tiptoed out of bed, making sure not to wake Y/n up. He wanted this to be a surprise, something that would make their day even more special. With a determined glint in his eyes, Dabi made his way to the kitchen, ready to whip up a delicious meal.
As he rummaged through the fridge and pantry, he realized that he had no idea how to cook. He had never really bothered to learn, always relying on takeout or Y/n's cooking skills. But today, he was determined to learn and make something for Y/n.
He found a recipe for pancakes and started gathering the ingredients. He followed the instructions carefully, trying his best to make a perfect batter. As the pancakes cooked on the stove, Dabi couldn't help but feel proud of himself.
However, his pride was short-lived as he realized that the pancakes suddenly burst into flames. He panicked and quickly tried to put the fire out, but it was too late. The smoke alarm went off, and Dabi's heart sank. He had ruined the surprise, and worse, he had almost burned down their apartment.
Y/n woke up to the sound of the smoke alarm and the smell of something burning. She quickly got out of bed and rushed to the kitchen, where she found Dabi frantically trying to fan the smoke away.
'What happened?' Y/n asked, trying to stifle a laugh at the sight of Dabi's disheveled hair and his attempt to fan the smoke away.
'I-I was trying to surprise you with breakfast,' Dabi muttered, looking down in embarrassment.
Y/n's heart swelled with pity for her partner. She knew how much effort he had put into this, and she couldn't help but find his failed attempt endearing. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.
'I appreciate the effort, but next time, let's stick to takeout,' Y/n joked, making Dabi chuckle.
Feeling slightly embarrassed, Dabi suggested that they go out for breakfast instead. Y/n happily agreed, and they both got ready to leave. He promised himself that he would learn how to cook properly so he could surprise her in the future.
Over breakfast, Dabi and Y/n laughed and joked about the incident, making it a cherished memory. They talked about their future and their dreams, and Dabi couldn't help but feel grateful for the life he had with Y/n by his side.
