"heeseung doesn't respond to her. his silence makes her turn in his embrace, a snide comment on her tongue. the comment dies before it can make it past her lips. her mouth drops open, her heart sinking."

warning: tension,
suspicion,
alcohol,
heeseung at a club with his 'girl'..
stalker/watcher (?)

────────────────────────

𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗪𝗘 go home..?" asuki yelled over the music booming from the speakers. the club was absolutely packed with people. a bunch of drunkies danced in the center, rubbing up against each other. through the loud music, asuki could've sworn she felt someone watching her.

her eyes skimmed through the crowd, colorful lights flicking back and forth non stop. "why should we go home? we're having fun." heeseung leaned down, lips close to her ear-his hot breath fanning against her neck as he spoke. "just have a drink, it's all fine." he whispered into her ear, just loud enough for her to hear over the music.

"hee, i feel like someone is-"

"suki." heeseung cut her off with a firm voice, his eyes locked onto the short girl. "i said it's all fine, have a drink or two.. you're way too paranoid for no reason." he said before wrapping his arm around her waist, big hand on her side.

asuki's nervous eyes roamed over the crowd once more, trying to get rid of that feeling of someone watching her.. it'd stuck with her since she met up with heeseung tonight. she couldn't seem to get rid of it. she couldn't rest, not even as heeseung pulled asuki towards the bar.

she turned when they reached the bar and her heart jumped. her eyes locked onto his. his eyes were sharp, slightly upturned. there was something strange to them, an emotion asuki couldn't figure out, something dark and taunting. it made her squirm. "heeseung-" she tugged on heeseung's bicep, just about to point towards the man but he was gone.

heeseung turned his head, looking down at asuki then where he pointed. his expression grew slightly irritated, "suki. stop being paranoid, it's really annoying." he said firmly with annoyance, handing her a drink.

the alcohol swirled in asuki's cup, dripping onto her fingers as heeseung constantly tugged her along. the two ended up in the center of the crowd, bodies moving all around her. a constant feeling of being watched filled her body with paranoia, but in order to wash down the feeling for the man in front of her-she drank the alcohol.

"see? not so bad is it?" heeseung whispered in her ear, smirking as he watched the alcohol kick in.

──────── later on...

heeseung left her for more drinks. asuki watched him weave through the bodies around them. her head was a little bit muddled, the edges of her vision just a little hazed. but the feeling of paranoia had retreated and she was feeling better.

she didn't know how long heeseung was gone but it seemed a short while before she felt a hand circle her waist. "are you back?" asuki shouts over the music, her back pressed against his chest.

heeseung doesn't respond to her. his silence makes her turn in his embrace, a snide comment on her tongue. the comment dies before it can make it past her lips. her mouth drops open, her heart sinking.

he isn't heeseung.

her eyes meet those that are slightly upturned, that taunting emotion from earlier still evident in the dark depths of his eyes. His hand at her waist tightens before she has the sense to escape his grip, holding her close to his chest. there's a smile on his lips, a lopsided, crazed tilt to his lips that showcases his teeth.

asuki can't breathe, her dress is too tight around her chest, her head is spinning. "you..." the word leaves her mouth in a stutter. her tongue feels too heavy, she can't get any other words out.

the man seems to understand what she'd said, despite the noise. "me." he replies, his lips close to her face. it's taunting. he's taunting her. asuki can't see straight. his features are swaying, the dim club lights aren't helping. "you." she repeats, her voice slowly turning into a whisper.

"me." he repeats mockingly.

"you're that man.. that.. j-junhui.."
