Fuyuko lay against the man's chest, his body adorned with burns, as she delicately traced her fingers over the patchwork of scars. The warmth of the rising sun filled the room as he played with her hair.
"I have to go," she suddenly declared, sitting up abruptly, oblivious to the passing time. "Really?" the man groaned, reluctantly sitting up and reaching for his shirt.
"The kid's 14; she can deal with being alone for a while," he grumbled, watching Fuyuko anxiously as she hurriedly donned her uniform.
"I know, but she's still my kid, and she's going to be worried," Fuyuko responded, her hand hovering over her sword as she prepared to leave the house. However, before she could depart, someone grabbed her hand, turning her around.
"What about a goodbye kiss? Or is that something demons don't do?" the man teased with a smirk.
"Fine," Fuyuko relented, planting a quick peck on the man's cheek. "Bye, Touya. Be good, 'kay?" she said before walking out of the hotel room.
"I'm always good," Touya called after her, a smile masking his true emotions. But as soon as Fuyuko was out of sight, his smile faltered, revealing the turmoil hidden beneath the surface.
Touya's phone rang, and he scowled at the caller ID. "This fucker again," he muttered under his breath as he answered the call. "What the fuck do you want?" he growled into the phone.
"Oh, Dabi, nice to hear you again too," the voice on the other end replied, dripping with sarcasm. "Anyway, I've got a job I think you'd like. Have you heard of the League of Villains, right?"
"You mean the shitshow that failed to defeat some teenagers? Yeah, I've heard of it," Touya snarled, his disdain evident in his voice.
"Yeah, well, they're recruiting. If you're interested," the man on the phone said, presenting Touya with an intriguing opportunity

Fuyuko's journey home took an unexpected turn when her crow informed her that the master wanted to see her. With a resigned sigh, she instructed the bird to relay a message to Kazumi, informing her that she would be delayed, before changing her course towards her master's location.
As she approached the designated meeting place, Fuyuko pulled her mask up, the scent of wisteria hanging heavy in the air, lending an ethereal quality to the surroundings. Kneeling respectfully before her master, she noticed her daughter, Kazumi, at her side
"Greetings, Master," Fuyuko greeted with deference as she sat up.
Master returned the greeting with grace, though his deteriorating health was evident, with purple skin covering half his face and milky white eyes.
"I called you both here today because I have a mission for Kazumi," Master announced softly, his voice possessing a soothing quality that eased tension.
"Master, she's only 14. You don't need to ask me if she can go—" Fuyuko began to speak only to be cut off.
"But considering the nature of this mission, I am aware you would be uncomfortable with the location. UA High," Master interjected, causing Fuyuko to tense up at the mention of the school. She raised her head so fast that her hood almost slipped off.
"UA?" she stuttered, taken aback by the revelation.
"Yes, my child. It's rumored that a demon is hidden there, and I want both of you to investigate. Kazumi as a student, and you, Fuyuko, as a teacher," Master explained calmly, revealing the gravity of the situation
"We will take it." Fuyuko said with dismay before bowing as Kazumi did the same as they walked off.
"I'll be careful so you don't need to worry about me mum." Kazumi said sensing her mothers anxiety.
Fuyuko breathed out "i know you will." She said ruffling Kazumi's hair.

The destination they arrived at was a camp, chosen as a precautionary measure due to the presence of a demon among the class they were tasked with watching over. Fuyuko settled on the ground while Kazumi occupied herself by swinging on a tree branch as they waited for the supposed "heroes" to arrive.
"So, you're the demon slayers?" inquired a man, his appearance matching the description of Shōta Aizawa: lean and slightly disheveled, with messy black hair that obscured his eyes, which held a sharp and stern gaze. His pale skin reflected his no-nonsense demeanor.
Fuyuko stood up to face him properly. "Yeah, we are. And you're the heroes?" she responded, her gaze scanning the group of heroes. She couldn't help but linger on the sleep-deprived hero, struggling to conceal her disdain.
"I'm Shōta Aizawa, and I'll probably be your co-worker," he introduced himself, to which Fuyuko simply nodded.
"I'm Fuyuko, and my kid is the one swinging from the branch," she added, pointing behind her.
"No last name?" Aizawa inquired, causing Fuyuko to grit her teeth in annoyance.
"No last name," she replied curtly, her irritation evident.
The exchange was followed by a tense silence, broken only by the sound of creaking branches as Kazumi continued her playful antics.
As the sun began to set, a group of teens emerged from the woods: two sets of twins, a blonde boy, a bespectacled individual, and several others.
"Wait, who is that?" one of the teens, sporting red spiky hair and sharp teeth, questioned upon seeing Fuyuko.
"This is Fuyuko. She'll be teaching alongside me, and we also have a student," Aizawa announced in his characteristic monotone voice.
Right on cue, Kazumi executed a front flip, landing softly on the ground. She looked at the teens, her complexion paling slightly as she assessed the situation.
The boy with glasses raised an eyebrow. "Hey, isn't she a bit young to be in high school?" he questioned.
"My kid is probably stronger than all of you," Fuyuko boasted, her confidence shining through, although Kazumi remained frozen, visibly petrified.
"Anyway, dinner is ready, kittens," one of the Pussycats announced, diverting attention away from the conversation.
