A knock on the door sounded and several more followed. She motioned slowly from the bed to open the door.
"girls isn't it pass your bedtime?", their mother asked.
"Mom, we got a strange letter and I don't think it's from Grandma and Grandpa", the girls exclaimed.
Let me see it and Ricka handed her mother the letter. She opened it and read it: WE FOUND YOU. She froze and yelled for her husband and panicked raced through their eyes.
"Go back to bed", she said softly to the girls.
Moments later whispers of voices could be heard downstairs stopping the girls from falling asleep.
"Lia, who yo think send dat deh letta deh?", Ricka asked.
"Mi nu know, maybe a e wrong address", she explained to her sister
"Wrong address and mummy face look so?", she questioned her sister.
"Probably she just surprised, go sleep now before them ketch wi up", Lia said.
Droplets of the rain beat on the window and the thunder roared loudly, keeping every thought racing after another. Ricka sat up and stared outside into the dark abyss as she wondered if she was missing something again?
