Author: I'm back. After a week's worth of rest and another week of writing, I finally got a chapter for you guys. Tiny spoiler for you guys but starting from now on the chapter gets more exciting. Anywho, I hope people like this chapter because I think this is the better one I made in quite a while, that or maybe it is cringe, <Shrugs shoulders> I don't know.

So anyway, hope you enjoy this latest installment and please, feedback is always appreciated.

Warning: This book is targeted at a mature audience as there will be graphic interpretation writing in here with some pretty serious topics being discussed such as sex, opposite-gender relationships, physical harassment, death, depression, and topic of suicide. So viewer discretion is advised.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Picking up from the last chapter, a month has passed since the moment when Shiro somewhat opened up to his parents, particularly Inko rather than Toshiko. However, by no means did this mean he trusted them entirely, but he was more willing to listen to them rather than push them away, which they accepted without question.

However, tension was still ever-present between Izumi and Shiro. The former was now more timid when around Shiro, avoiding eye contact as much as possible because each time she did, it reminded her of how much of a failure she was as a sister. However, that was not the only thing, as every time she saw or was reminded of him, a mental image became present, showing her a visage of a bloody, lifeless Shiro looking at her, cursing her for doing this to him.

Other than that, the only other noteworthy thing to mention was that, with a bit of reassurance given him thanks to Inko, Shiro, after almost three months, was finally able to get out of his room. Although an issue did present itself; even though he left his room, that didn't mean he had left the house, which worried the parents.

This was because if he didn't then what would happen to his education? This was quickly alleviated by Shiro as he explained his switch to online schooling. When asked why, he did not say much, but the look in his eyes was all they needed to know that whatever happened there was bad. With that out of the way, let's get back to the story.
