"WOW. What a day. First that restaurant by the bay," Izuku sighed, swinging his arms back and forth."Mhm.."
"And then that, that play, that Oedipus thing. Man! I thought had problems." Izuku joked, using his hands to express himself. They both chuckled, Y/N's eyes wondering to the side.
Then two birds flew around and landed in the birdbath near Y/N. She flinched as the bird's head morphed into Himiko and Jin.
"Psst! Stop foolin' around!" Himiko spat.
"Yeah. Get the goods, sister." Jin hissed. As Izuku turned his attention back to Y/N, she shot him a smile watching the two 'birds' tweet innocently from the corner of her eye. "I didn't know that playing hooky could be so much fun."
"Yeah. Niether did I." Y/N mumbled as the birds flew off. "Thanks, Y/N."
The girl nervously chuckled, her chest swelling in guilt. "Don't thank me just yet."
"Oh!" Y/N fell into Izuku's arms.
"Oops, careful." Izuku says quietly.
"Sorry. Weak ankles." She told him, messing with the green hair on the back of his nape.
"Oh yeah? Well, maybe you better sit down for a while." Effortlessly, Izuku lifted Y/N and carried her to a stone bench. Gently setting her down before sitting on the other side.
"So, uh, do you have any problems with things like.. this?" Y/N stretched her leg and held her foot right before Izuku's face. "Weak ankles, I mean."
"Oh. Uh, no. Not really." Izuku pushed her leg down and backed away.
Y/N began crawling closer to him and placed a hand on his chest "No weaknesses whatsoever? No trick knee? Ruptured... disks?"
"No." He gulped and fixed her dress strap. "I'm afraid I'm, uh.. fit as a fiddle." He smiled and stood up from the bench.
"Wonderboy, you are perfect." Y/N huffed.
"Thanks."
Izuku skipped a stone across the water in the fountain next to them, the rock hitting the marble statue at the end, breaking its arms. "Whoops."
Y/N covered her mouth to muffle her laughter before she pushed herself off the bench and walked beside Izuku. Placing her arm on his shoulder, Y/N tilted her head to give the statue a better look. "It looks better that way. No, it really does."
Izuku turned his head to look at her and gave a sweet smile. Y/N moved her eyes from the statue to the green haired boy only to see him already staring at her. The two admired each other in comfortable silence when a flash caught their attention, Izuku and Y/N looked up to see a shooting star fly across the night sky.
"You know, when I was a kid I, I would have given anything to be exactly like everybody else."
Y/N scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. "You wanted to be petty and dishonest?"
"Everybody's not like that." Izuku said softly.
"Yes they are." Y/N replied, looking at her reflection in the fountain water.
"You're not like that."
Y/N turned around to face him. "How do you know what I'm like?"
Izuku gazed into her eyes, slowly taking her hands in his. The H/C girl could only stare at him with a smile on her face. "All I know is.. You're the most amazing person with... weak ankles, I've ever met."
Y/N gulped and slowly backed away only to get pricked by a small statue of Amur. "Y/N, when I'm with you I-I don't feel so... alone."
"Sometimes it's better to be alone." Y/N sighs quielty, walking past the hero to sit on the fountain edge.
"What do you mean?" Izuku mumbled.
"Nobody can hurt you."
"Y/N," Izuku said, reaching for her hand and taking a seat beside her. "I would never ever hurt you."
Y/N raised her head to meet his gaze. "And I don't wanna hurt you, so... let's both do ourselves a favor and.. stop this... before... we..." Their lips come close for a kiss, but a bright light suddenly flashed their eyes from the sky.
"All right! Break it up! Break it up! Party's over!" They glance up to see Yagi on Katsuki's back holding a megaphone. "I been looking all over this town!"
"Calm down, blondie!" Y/N barked, standing up and walking towards the two. "It was all my fault."
"You're already on my list, sister, so don't make it worse." Yagi scolded as he and Katsuki landed in front of them. Yagi dismantled from Katsuki and walked passed her. Just as he left, Katsuki snorted at Y/N and she leaned up, blowing out the candle on his head.
"And as for you," He grabbed Izuku by the collar. "you're going to the stadium and you're going to be put through the workout of your life! Now get on the horse."
"Okay, okay" Izuku turned to Y/N with a smile.
"I'm sorry..." she began.
"Ah, he'll get over it." Izuku assured her. He pulled a huge tree down effortlessly and picks a white flower off of it. He handed it to Y/N and gave her a small peck on the cheek. Y/N blushed and raised her hand to ghost the spot the green haired hero kissed.
"Move! Move, move, move! Move!" Yagi nagged.
With a lopsided grin, Izuku leapt onto Katsuki and they took off into the night sky. Yagi, sitting behind Izuku, noticed that he wasn't paying attention.
"Hey, watch it! Whoo! Watch it! Keep your goo-goo eyes on the..." He turned Izuku's head to face forward and didn't notice the branch. Thwack!
Yagi fell of Katsuki and knocked his head on a small column slurring his words. Izuku didn't notice and flew on without him. "That's it. Next time, I drive."
He said as he passed out.
