The next morning Misty woke up early and headed to work. When arrived she went straight to her bosses office to discuss about the 3 days off over the upcoming weekend. She was nervous but really wanted to try and she doesn't ask for days off often. she knocks. "Come in!" he shouts through the thick wooden door. She opens the door "Hey I was just wondering if I could talk to you about having a few days off ?"she asked. "Yeah... sure when for?" he questioned. "If possible... next Friday to Sunday?" she asked. "Let me have a look.... um yeah I don't see an issue with that" he said looking up to smile at her. "Awesome thank you !!" she smiled as she walked out of his office shutting the door behind her.
She finished her day at work before going home to her girlfriend Mimi and the rest of the gang to tell them the news. The gang themselves were really happy for her however Mimi on the other hand was not. " Do you have to go ?" asked Mimi "Its not that I'm not happy for you but I'm just..." she paused. "Just what ?" Misty chuckled. "I'm just going to miss you were like never apart and now your leaving for three days !!" Mimi stated clearly unhappy about the decision but doesn't want to make Misty feel like she cant go. "Mimi you will be fine its only a few days and I can call you and you've still got the gang here" Misty stated feeling bad but knowing she would be ok. " I guess" she replied with a frown. "Tell you what.. You can help me pack if it will make you feel better" Misty smiled at her. She shot up smiling almost immediately. "I take that as a yes then" Misty said giggling to herself before Mimi began to nod in excitement.
"Right I'm going to get my suitcase" Misty explained before leaving the room to get her suitcase from the spare room. She returned less than five minuets later and Mimi had already picked out some clothes for her. " I got you some pyjamas, both long and short sleeved shirts, Hoodies, Joggers and your leather jacket" Mimi clapped already having her whole suitcase ready in little amount of time. "Thank you !! ... Um...." Misty stands at the clothes thinking. "Whats up? Did I forget something?" Mimi questioned her waiting for a reply. " No I think you've got it all but here.." Misty turned to face her girlfriend. "I want you to have my hoodie for the weekend so its like I'm always with you" Misty said smiling awkwardly hoping she didn't find her weird or anything. " OMG!!! thank you Misty " Mimi screamed before giving her a kiss on the cheek. " No problem I don't want you to miss me too much... oh and you can have my room for the weekend also but make sure its only you or Pip in it I don't want anyone else in there" Misty said sternly making it clear she didn't want anybody else in there." Ok ill make sure" Mimi reassured her that she wouldn't let anyone in other than Pip.
"Okay can we go to bed now ?" Misty questioned. "Of course we can" Mimi agreed before they got into bed and headed off to sleep.
