You have been at the England camp for a few days now and you have been training your hardest and have been putting all of your strength and power into being the best version of you. All the work you have done and how good your training has been the coaches have been impressed and have told Sarina about your hard work. Hearing that you had your hopes up about being put in the starting 11 for the game tomorrow.

Your sitting on the the exercise bike in the main lobby watching your team-mates play basketball watching to see who was good and who was bad so you know the right people to go against when you play

You couldn't focus on anything but tomorrows game and how it is the start of the euros and how far the team would get and if we could even get far enough in the tournament for people to recognize the women's football could be just as good as men's football and people needed to see that for the good , all the games where being shown on the TV so people was able to watch it all around the world. The teams where tough but the team could do it if everyone worked together but first we had to make it through the qualification round.

It was game day and it was against Austria and we was getting ready on the coach to travel to the stadium as it was at Old Trafford. Getting on the coach everyone was deciding on where to sit and who to sit by but you just sat at the front of the coach on your own until someone came and sat next to you.

"hello there"

Y/N: "hi"

"i don't know if you know me but i'm Beth Mead"

Y/n: "i know who you are you play for Arsenal don't you"

Beth: "yeah and you play for Aston Villa am i right"

Y/n: "well kind off i'm on loan but i would normally play for Manchester United"

Beth: "oh i remember you"

Y/n: "you do?"

Beth: "yeah you made that really bad foul against me which ended up with you being given a red card and being sent of the pitch"

Y/n: "oh that was the day we was winning 0-3 but after i got sent of and we got 2 injury's we sadly lost 4-3"

Beth: "yeah that was an unfortunate day for you and your team"

Y/n: "yeah but we move past it"

Beth: "clearly since then you've been loaned out"

You arrive at the stadium at 6:30 so you can warm up and have a team talk as the match starts at 8:00. You get inside the stadium and put all your bags and extra things in the changing room and head out to walk along the pitch and take in the atmosphere and to see people actually turning up to watch the game in person which actually shocked you as when playing in the WSL only a few people would come and watch every week but this was more than a few people they didn't fill the stadium but at least two stands where full of people.

Heading back into the changing room you all change into you training kits and put your boots on and head back out to the pitch to start warming up to get ready for the game it was now 7:00 as you spent your time walking around the pitch and talking to your team-mates and talking to the other team and also spent time having a little team talk as you find out who is in the starting line up and shocked that you actually made it as you have never played in an England game before and you have never been in the first team before but happy thoughts trailed through you head and you walked back out to the pitch to warm up.

Mary: "OMG Y/N YOUR IN THE STARTING LINE UP"

Y/n: "i know i feel a bit weird about it"

Mary: "don't be just play the best you can and help the team"

More time passes as you warm up and head back into the changing room the go and listen to what Sarina had to say to the team. You then get changed out of your training kit and into your England kit but before you put it on you turn your shirt around and look at it and see that it says Elliott with the number 24 printed on it. You walk into the tunnel and line up with the mascots next to you. The music starts playing and the fireworks light up the sky and you starts to walk out , walking out smoke boxes are set up both sides and are set off as you walk past them you line up both sides of the refs England on one side then Austria on the other.

You walk past the other players shaking their hand before the game starts and then jogging off to the center off the pitch to hand a huddle before the game starts but the other team just gets in position so you all pat each others backs and then get into positions. The ref blows the whistle and you take the knee then game starts.

Passing the ball back a forth , defenders blocking all Austria chances. Keira Walsh passes the ball to you and you run up the wing and cross it over the Beth Mead and she blasts the ball into the back of the net and runs off the celebrate while everyone else runs over to her and hugs her and high five her and then the game continues.

The game ends and it was 1-0 to England and the whole team gets onto the coach and starts to celebrate the win as it is one step closes to being and important impact on the world.
