The day that changed our lives

First day of training

It was the first day of your official England training with the first team and to be honest you was a little nervous but also a little excited as well. You get up out of bed and make your way over to your table in front of your bed and place the cup on the tray while you wait for the kettle to boil so you can have a tea/coffee so you will be ready for the day. The water boils and you make your drink and head over to your wardrobe to get out your kit ready for training.

A while later you  walk out your room and are greeted by Mary with her huge smile on her face with her gloves already on her hands and a ball by her side on the floor. 

Y/n: "are you always wearing your gloves"

Mary: "duh obviously i wear the to sleep as well"

Y/n: "clearly" you laugh as you and Mary head towards the stairs to the boot room.

Making your way down the stairs you hear more people chatting and the sound of cleats clashing with the floor as your team-mates headed outside. You get to the boot room and head to your part of the bench to see a new pair of boots waiting for you underneath. Taking a breath you sit down and start to put your boots on and lace them up the way you want them.

Ella: "look at you with your new boots aren't you lucky"

You look up to see Ella standing in front of you with her arms out waiting for you to hug her

Y/n: "omg Ella it's been too long"

Ella: "I know It feels like i haven't seen you in ages"

Y/n: "i know Mary said the same thing"

Ella: "well can't wait to have you back at United. well see you outside"

Y/n: "yeah see you outside" 

You carry on putting your boots on and head outside to the pitch ready for training. Walking out you see  the camera man sanding there filming you as you walked out. 

Y/n: "I do sometimes have friends but not today" you say and you and the camera man laugh as you walk off.

A few hours pass and training has finished and your walking back inside with Mary on one side of you and Lauren hemp on the other side you walk down the stairs and into the boot room to take of your boots and out your normal shoes on to go relax to take your mind of thing so you don't stress and so you can also have fun while your at camp. 

You walked into the room to see people playing pool , people playing basket ball , people playing pool and some playing football on the console with you look around and see Mary and Lucy playing a game of darts so you decide to walk over and watch as you know how bad Mary is a darts and that you find it funny the fact that she thinks she can win Lucy even though deep down she know she can't beat her but you could still tell that she was trying her hardest to win but in every throw of the dart she was doing she seemed to still stay far behind on Lucy's school.

Lucy: " Oi oi is this the famous Y/n Mary has been telling me about"

Y/n: "the one and only"

Lucy: "well it's finally good to put a face to the name nice to meet you i'm Lucy Bronze"

Y/n: "hi i'm Y/N" 

Lucy: "Elliot" she says as she cuts you off before you could finish

Y/n: "yep that's me" you smile as you continue to watch the game go on

Lucy: "Y/n you need to play after this Mary is no good and i need a competition"

Mary: "oi i'm not that bad"

Lucy: "Mary you keep getting double twos"

Mary: "yeah well it's a build up to what i'm gonna do"

Lucy: "yeah whatever iv'e won this and you know that"

Mary: "you know what i give up then" she puts the darts down on the table as she walks over to you giving you a nudge so you go over to the board and get ready to play against Lucy.

The game ends and you beat Lucy which she seems to laugh about but it feels like she's not going to let this go and sooner or later she going to make you do a rematch and she's going to be way more competitive towards the game. But you walk away and head to the little bar looking thing they have in the corner that are selling ice drinks and hot drinks and some warm and cold food so you decide to go over the and try one off the cold drinks off the menu as training tired you out and kept your body warm so having a cold drink seemed to be the right option , looking at the menu you see the food options as well and see that right under your nose there is some croissants and pain au chocolat that have been warmed up so you decide to have one of them as well as a cold drink.
