The day that changed our lives

Semi - Finals!

It was the next day and you was all ready for the Semi finals and you had got rid of any last minute jitters. As you was all packed into the coach waiting for it to leave Sarina stands up and takes a look at everyone and stares at them for at least 2 seconds she takes a deep breath and nods and gives you all the most motivating and encouraging speech ever. You all give her a round of applause as she sits down and everyone starts to talk and the coach takes off and continues to drive for a few hours.

A hour and half passes and you have arrived at Bramall lane stadium and you are all sitting on the coach waiting for your signal to get off but while you wait you can see some off the fans outside the stadium waiting for you all to come out most of them where holding signs and most of them holding a pen and some sort of thing to sign and some of them with their camera out waiting to take photos but sadly no one was allowed to go up to the fans before the game as Sarina had told you all she wanted you to stay in game mode and not slip out of it. 

You was all given the signal that you was allowed to step off the coach and head into the stadium fans cheered your names as everyone walked past. Smiling and waving as you walked past because no one wanted to seem rude about not being able to go up to any fans everyone got into the stadium and into the dressing rooms and put their stuff down and sat down while everyone waited to see if anything would happen next. When all the sudden Sarina walks into the dressing room and opens her mouth to say a few words.

Sarina: "i just wanted to say well done to everyone for making it this far and whatever happens out their today win or lose i'm am still very proud of you for doing your best"

Everyone claps and gets changed into the training kit before you all head out to the pitch to warm up. 

Songs played as you jogged out of the dressing room and onto the pitch to warm up and the crowd cheered as the whole team entered onto the pitch. Everyone was split into small group in the pitch so they could focus on what their role was on the pitch. Warming up you and a few others head in as you wasn't in the starting line up today as Sarina was rotating the squad around so everyone had a chance to play which you didn't mind as you had played almost every game on the run up to this semi-finals. 

Minutes pass and you walk back out of the tunnel with the other subs while the starting 11 get out onto the pitch and get ready for that whistle to be blown so the game could start. At half time England was up 1-0 and there was still more to come. 

Heading back out to the pitch for the second half all the fans where screaming and cheering as the team entered onto the pitch. The 48th minute had hit and England had scored again with the thanks of Lucy Bronze England was now up 2-0 and the other team was getting more aggressive as the game went on as they was determined to win the game but that wasn't going to happen because as you was sent to warm up and was in the corner of the pitch so you could see the goal the other team where striking the ball at our goal but Mary was too good for them that's when you was called back up by one of the coaches and you was going to be subbed on to replace Ellen you take you bib off and head down to the side of the pitch to wait and be subbed on. You hear your name being called out to the whole stadium as they announced that you where coming on the stadium cheered as they watched Ellen come off and you come on to replace her. 

Within the 11 minutes of you being on the pitch you tackle the ball off the other team and run up to their goal and get inside of the box and you blast the ball with all your power as you watched it slide past the keeper and into the back off the net. You run off celebrating towards the fans as they all jump and cheer.

The game still continues and England where still 3-0 up and that was when the 76th minute took place and Beth Mead had made the most outstanding cross over to Fran Kirby as she hits the ball and gets the back of the net shaking. The fans go wild and so does everyone on the side line and all the players on the pitch run towards Fran as everyone celebrated the goal. Everyone runs back to the pitch and the game continues until the final whistle is blown and everyone celebrates and music is played throughout the stadium as England had made it the Finals of the Euros. Fans go wild as the team celebrates on the pitch and everyone hugs everyone one to say well done.

After the game the whole team goes up to fans to sign , take photos and talk to fans while joy filled the air and happiness was spread around to everyone.
