As it does every morning, the bright sunlight shoots through your apartment windows. This wakes you up instantly. For once, you happily get up. Today is the final of the Euros, and Leah has invited you to sit in a box with all the other 'WAGS'. Nothing is official between the pair of you yet but it makes you feel good that you're invited to sit there. You spring out of bed, heading straight to the kitchen. It's pretty quiet in your apartment, so you assume that Gracie is at work. As you are grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, you hear your phone buzz against the worktop. Missed call from Leah. You instantly ring her back, missing her voice. "Hi Ams" she smiles at you. You haven't seen her since your birthday, but she's been busy with international duty so that's to be expected. "Hey" you smile back "how are you feeling?". Instantly, you regret asking this as you fear you'll make her more nervous. It's expected that she's nervous, I mean this day could change her life forever.

Ten minutes later, the call ends. You decide it's probably time to start getting ready. As per usual, you stick with a basic makeup look. You slick your hair back and head over to your wardrobe. Eventually, you decide on a black mini skirt paired with an England shirt, obviously saying Williamson on the back. I mean, who else would you rep. You put this on before matching it with some black converse. You're really excited to see Leah play, and they could win the whole damn thing. Leah offered to let you take Izzy with you and the pair of you could sit in the box. It made you feel less nervous that you'd be with someone, rather than completely surrounded by strangers.
You decide to text her to let her know you're about to leave.

You grab all your essentials, phone, keys, ID, lipgloss before running out to your car. Surprised you do drive, you just choose to take Uber's everywhere. It takes you no longer than five minutes to arrive at Izzy's, and to your surprise she's already outside waiting for you. This comes as a shock because Izzy has no concept of time, so you assumed you'd be waiting at least twenty minutes for her. As soon as she see's you, she hops in the car. "Hey girl" she says in her strong Australian accent. It's so nice that even though you're thousands of miles from home, you still have some Australia with you. "Hey" you smile back at her "you excited?". "Yeah I am, are you excited to see your girlfriend play"  she jokes, getting an eye roll from you. "She's not my girlfriend Izzy, we're just ...friends" you say, lying through your teeth. Izzy lets out a loud laugh "okay friends, how many times have you kissed this friend?" she says, once again gaining an eye roll from you. The rest of the car journey is just Izzy teasing you, and her skipping all the songs on your playlist. Eventually you arrive at Wembley Stadium. You're excited for Leah, but slightly jealous that she gets her big moment here before you do.

The next hour consists of trying to find the box, getting a drink and taking pictures with fans who spot you. You worry that they'll work it out between you and Leah, even though there's nothing official. Eventually, you get to the box. It's a bit daunting, the box is filled with family and a few of the England WAGs. It's okay though, you've been invited to be here. Leah's mum spots you "Amelia, Darling, come sit with me" she shouts over everyone, gaining a few stares from everyone. You chat with Leah's mum up until the match starts.

The first half of the match is pretty slow. England have chances but they're not playing them out the best. I mean, can you blame them? The amount of pressure they must be feeling. Half time hits and everyone is feeling a little disappointed. You assume Leah is disappointed too, God you wish you could just tell her it'll be okay. The game starts again and it's slow for a little once again. 62nd minute Ella Toone scores. The atmosphere completely changes, screams and cheers coming from all across the stadium. Everyone is on a high right now. 79th minute Lina Magull scores. You can hear the screams around the stadium, but it's nothing compared to the noise England fans had made before. The game continues into extra time. Everyone's nerves are back. They were one goal away from their whole lives changing, either for the better or for the worse. 110th minute Chloe Kelly scores. The stadium erupts, everyone is going crazy. You look down to see Chloe running around with her shirt off. Valid way to celebrate. Not long after, the final whistle blows. You can hear screaming, and shouting, and chanting coming from all around. All the players drop to the floor. You spot Leah on the ground, you assume crying. You'd never been more proud of your stargirl.
