Layla's POV
I was walking through a dark forest when I heard a Bush shaking.I snapped my head towards the sound and was ready for an attack. As I was ready to morph a little bunny hopped out of the Bush. I just laughed at myself.
"Well now that you've saved us from the rabbit Layla we can continue." She said looking down at me. Blonde hair and green eyes just like me. She was my mother and my father was on my other side.
"Mommy where are we going anyways?" My 5 year old self asked with the most curiosity.
"Somewhere safe for the princess somewhere where no one will find you." My dad told me with a serious face. We had just walked out of the woods and a little cottage was there. My father walked up to the door and knocked. After there was no answer he just walked in and ran right back out picking me up and grabbing my mom's hand.
"We need to leave NOW!" My dad sounded scared and that wasn't like him. I could tell they had been mindlinking so using a trick I had taught myself not to long ago I tapped into their conversation.
'Fredrick was laying dead in cold blood someone knew where we were heading and got there first.'
'Do you think Seth is alright all in his own?'
'Yeah he's a big boy he can take care of himself.' The shut off their mindlink and continued walking.
Seth's POV
Layla has been sleeping for sometime now and I'm trying to decide if I should wake her up or not. There has been an awkward silence between Cole and I. Honestly I think my sister deserves a better mate I've heard all the stories about this guy. None of them being good most about him sleeping around not waiting for his mate to come.
"I swear if you keep staring at me I'll throw you out the window." Cole had said to me with anger.
"I'm just trying to figure you out. I wanna know if your good enough for Layla."
"Of course I am I'm her mate!" Well that was dramatic of him. We both heard a gasp come from the backseat. We snapped our heads towards the back and saw Layla with wide eyes.
"What happened?" Cole and I said at the same time.
"I-I had a dream that was also a memory about mom and dad!" I was dumbfounded she was remembering and it won't be long till she remembers what I did.
"What was it about?" I asked now very worried and curious.
"Well I was walking through a forest with mom and dad and we went to a cabin and the guy was dead. Then after mom and dad had a conversation it ended. Seth why were you not with us? where were you?" She begun to question me while I just stared into space. I heard snapping in my face and say Layla with a worried look.
"Sorry what was that?" I asked now very confused.
"Nothing how long before we get to where we need to morph?"
"About 25 minutes so lay down and get some sleep." Cole had told her.
