Kelsey's POV
As I ran next to Layla and Chrissy I realized my brown hair was getting in the way of my blue/green eyes. It was now dark and I had a feeling if we didn't stop soon us girls would kill all the guys. Finally Cole and Seth came to a stop. Everyone but those two fell onto their butts.
"We think this is far enough for tonight." They both said simultaneously. Everyone else just grunted exhausted from running all day.
"Everyone pitch your tent girls you will be sharing one." Seth told us and we all Squealed.
After our tents were pitch we climbed into our tent and just laid on the floor.
"I have an idea let's make a story about us three." Chrissy said and Layla and I agreed.
"Ok so once upon a Time there were three friends. All three were princesses and went on an adventure. One named Layla, the other Kelsey, and lastly Chrissy." Chrissy started the story.
"On this journey their boyfriends had escorted them. Little did they know their boyfriends would be obnoxious and idiotic." Layla added then it was my turn.
"The girls had finally had enough with them being bossy that they ran off. Seriously the girls were the princesses not the boys. The girls ran and ran. Soon they began to think that without the boys they were weak and powerless because that is what society makes them out to be."
"It was now the third night and the girls were scared. It was their first night in the woods and they had no idea what to do. They had no food or water. Just then they heard a Bush rustling and got into a fighting stance." Layla said to continue.
"Out from the Bush came a big mountain lion. Layla grabbed a stick, Chrissy a big rock, and Kelsey a branch. Working together they had taken down the mountain lion. They now had food but still no water." Chrissy add to Layla's part.
"Just then the sound of running water filled the ears of the girls. Chrissy was the first to take off running while Layla and Kelsey followed. They came upon a stream and now had water. Returning to where they had the mountain lion they realized girls are just as strong as guys. Three independent girls could now survive in the woods and didn't need a man's help." I said ending the story.
"And that's the Tale of the three tails!!!" Layla shouted and all three of us began laughing. We soon began to start thinking and Chrissy was the first to speak.
"Why don't we just continue the journey tonight after the guys go to sleep?"
"Let's do it we'll grab some supplies and head towards the mothertooth." Layla said but one thing was bugging me.
"How will we know where to go?"
"Easy I'm the one that got us here I have this pull to the mothertooth so I know which way to go." Layla informed us. We all high-fived and got a little sleep before the guys did.
Chrissy's POV
I woke up to the sound of Cole saying goodnight which meant the rest were sleeping. I waited a few minutes before I woke up the girls. Then before we knew it we were packing up and heading North. We would make camp at daylight and travel at night unlike the boys who travel during the day and camp at night. We still had a few hours before daylight so instead of traveling by human form we morphed into our wolves. I morphed into my brown one, Kelsey into her gray one, and Layla into her white one. We began running full speed towards the mothertooth.
'How much more time before daylight?' Kelsey asked there our own personal mindlink that Layla made. Being the werewolf princess had its perks.
'Probably about 2 hours.' I told her and just than we heard the bushes rustle. We could smell it was a deer so by instinct since we were staving we tackled it and ate.
'Ok let's roll just leave the remains so the boys will have a sense of which way to go.' Layla said and Kelsey and I both nodded. We continued running until daylight we morphed back into our human form and set up camp.
Johnathan's POV (Kelsey's mate)
I was the first one to wake up and I realized I never told my mate my name. I made my way over to where the girls tent is supposed to be and its gone! I look around and sniff I can smell them but it's faint which means they are no longer here. I wake up everyone else and we begin our search for any sign of where they are.
"Hey there's something carved into this tree!" The head warrior Toby called to us. We all rushed over and saw that it was a note from the girls. ' We went this way just follow our scent and you'll find us at the mothertooth.' It had an arrow pointing North. We got the best trackers to start on their scent while we packed up.
Not too soon later since we were all in a panic, especially Cole and Seth,we were packed and running north in our human form. We were gonna go as far as we could during daylight then rest tonight. I can't believe that I just found my mate and now she's gone like really!
It's now dark outside and we set up camp. I wish we would've traveled in our wolf forms we are much faster that way. I could smell the girls scent was a little stronger which meant they couldn't be too far.....what's that I also smell......is that deer carcass? I walked over to a tree and see engraved 'if you found this your going the right way we regret not taking food. Just keep heading North until you find the next note.' This note had been written in a different style which meant they were taking turns leaving notes. I recognized the scent as Chrissy. I informed the guys and we were all stumped as to why they left. Well looks like we'll be looking for another note.
