Chapter 3- An Emblem of Suffering

Megan's POV

"Hmmmm..." I pouted, shifting my lips from side to side. I looked at the bottle which my seatmate is currently playing by spinning it around while we're in the middle of the class. And that gave me an idea. I snatched it and made a deal to us(people in the table - basically we're like 10 in the table) I will grab this opportunity whilst our teacher is out. "Wanna play a game, guys?" I raised my eyebrow. They nodded vigorously so I took it as a yes. "Okay listen up, the one who will be pin pointed by the lid of this bottle will say hi to their crush with a passionate smile. Deal?" I fired my creepiest and spookiest grin ever! Right now, I can judge by the looks of Natalie 'bout what she's thinking: THIS - 'Please say I wouldn't be getting involve with this one!!!' I'm sorry besh but you're already involve before you think of it *evil laugh*

I started spinning the bottle and it stopped directly to Joshua. It's really essential that Joshua got to be engaged with my schemes :) I swear, I love my crazy systems!

Joshua shrugged and looked at Natalie with an intense feeling. He was trying to have an eye contact with her but I saw Natalie drove her eyes away. Perhaps Joshua was too forward with that. I wish they could use telepathic communications without any psychotic disturbance - me, for instance ^_^ And of course, so they can talk as far as they can without anybody hearing their conversations.

"Let's patch things up! Go on Josh! Spill it out!" I clapped excitedly then rest both of my arms above the table and lazed both sides of my jaw beside my hand. I knew all along that Joshua fancies Natalie. Judging by how he looks and by how he smiles whenever he sees Natalie, surely he loved her. And on the other hand, Natalie also fancies him but there's something I don't know that pulls her back not to reveal the truth to me. So, this is the only chance to let her know that the one that she likes, also liked her. Thank you for cooperating bottle and please better to cooperate Joshua. Natalie's love life is at stake! Or should I say both of your future relationship! When was I able to predict someone's future love lifes?

I noticed that Joshua threw his smirk out on his lips and looked very uncool to me. Then smiled with the word, "HI" WHAT THE FLIP!????!!!!! My eyes widened. I accidentally slipped my elbow from above the table but rather than that I straighten my body and looked very curiously to Joshua.

"Jeez! Love love love." Jess said, forming a heart gesture using her hand.

"Joshua + Megan = JoshAn. Linkin', linkin', linkin'!!" Simon said with a wink.

"No, MeShua! Wouldn't that be great?" Scarlett objected.

"Are you blushing Megan?" Ashleigh asked. Hell, I ain't blushing!!! Are these guys actually buying Joshua's lie?

"Ace!" A sarcastic voice came out from my very own mouth. "Bleurgh! You pesky grisly monster!" He shove his eyes away from me. What was that lie for? I know that he was lying! He can't even look straight towards me. Is this how coward Joshua is when it comes to girls or only when it's about Natalie? I understand his point but there's no need to lie, is there? It'll make the situation more complicated because of what he has done!

I tried to look at Natalie but she just ignored my presence. Then suddenly, our seatmates keep on insisting that we need to be sitting beside each other and we both can't hide the fact that it's really awkward. Now, I needed to wait until the bell rings to talk to Natalie and clear all this mess!

After ages of wait, eventually the bell rings. Natalie rushed off and I myself needs to chase her.

"Natalie, we need to talk!" I shouted without any care if that's too loud for everyone to hear it. We're talking about friendship and this is definitely not the time to go easy.
