1 Year Later.

Sunoo was sat in his office, the click clacking of the keyboard filling his room as he looked down at his notes while typing the write up for the new company that they were planning to acquire. He could hear the faint tick tocking of the wall clock opposite him as the second hand moved, stringing the minute hand behind it. From the corner of his eye, he could see the framed picture of Sunghoon on his desk. His favourite picture. The one where his back was towards the camera and Sunghoon was looking at him, and only him when the picture was taken. His smile was big, bright and toothy, affection dripped out of his eyes, faint blush on his cheek as his hand was on Sunoo's waist thumb rubbing slow circles on top of his shirt. Sunoo remembered that moment like it was yesterday. He was telling Sunghoon a stupid joke, an incredibly lame and dumb one that he had read on the internet but, he couldn't even get through it before he threw himself at Sunghoon, laughing until his stomach hurt; and Sunghoon, he was smiling throughout the whole thing, catching Sunoo by the waist as Hoseok took the picture.

Sunoo cleared his throat and shook his head, as he let out a big breath, a shaky one. He was at work. He couldn't do this. This was work. He had to concentrate! This was the biggest deal of his life so far and he didn't want to disappoint. If Sunghoon was here-

No. He wasn't going to do this again.

He looked down at his notes and then back up at the computer, rereading what he wrote before he continued to type.

Knock knock knock

"Come in." Sunoo called out, clearing his throat and then looking up.

"Sunoo?"

"Hey, Joohyun, what's up?" He asked.

"What are you doing in the office so late? It's a Friday night. Don't you have plans?" He asked.

"So late?" Sunoo asked confused.

He looked up at the clock - 7.15pm.

"Oh when did it get..." He said, trailing off.

"I'm just about to go to the office party in the bar on 5th," Joohyun said, "Do you want to come with?"

"No I can't," Sunoo said, saving his work before shutting his computer down, and packing his things up, "I have a date tonight. I'm actually already late. I was meant to meet them at 7.30."

"Is this the same date as Wednesday?" Joohyun asked.

"The very same!" Sunoo said with a smile as he loosened his tie and grabbed his phone from the desk.

"Oh, things must be getting pretty serious then," Joohyun said suggestively, wagging his eyebrows up and down, "Have fun, Sunoo! See you on Monday."

"You too, Joohyun!"

Sunoo took another look at the clock and turned off the lights, rushing out to grab the lift.

"Wine. Takeaway. Picnic blanket. Power bank. Bluetooth speaker..." He said to himself as he drove, trying to remember anything else he forgot.

Sunoo pulled into the parking lot and turned the engine off.

"Did I forget something?" He asked himself, "No I don't think I did..."

He looked at the picnic basket in the back seat that held the takeaway, wine, power bank, speaker and some disposable glasses and then at the picnic blanket on the backseat behind it.

He pulled down the visor and checked the mirror to see if he was presentable. He had taken off his tie and has unbuttoned a couple of buttons from his work shirt. He fussed around with his hair, moving pieces around, and placing them where he wanted them to be.
