Currently Team 7 waits for their ever-late Sensei, their sitting under a tree shoulder to shoulder each deep in their own thoughts.
"It's so boring, wait... I have an idea, Shannaro!" grins a mischievous Inner-Sakura. "Hey guys, I was wondering... What's your favorite flower?"
"I like sunflowers! They are just so bright and happy!" the blonde-haired boy responds with a huge smile on his face.
Smiling at his favorite flower the pinkette continues with hers. "That's cool! I think I like daffodils the most. Because daffodils bloom in early spring and many cultures view them as a symbol of rebirth, renewal, and new beginnings. They also represent friendship. For some people daffodils is a sign of good fortune. They are also the birth flower for March." Finishing her rambling she looks at the ground, a blush adorning her face.
"Wow Sakura-chan, these are some interesting facts about them, believe it!" exclaims Naruto while looking at his crush in wonder. "Do you know some facts about Sunflowers?"
"Hm... yeah, I do! At the bud stage, sunflowers exhibit a unique trait called heliotropism, where the sunflower face turns toward the sun at all times throughout the day, starting the day facing east and ending it facing west. Sunflowers symbolizes adoration, loyalty, and longevity. If you ask me this flower describes you perfectly! "
"Amazing Sakura-chan! How do you know all these facts?" questions a dumbfounded whiskered boy.
"In Kunoichi Class when we had to work with flowers Ino told me those facts and explained their meanings. Anyway, what about you Sasuke-kun?" the girl turns her head in his direction so that they face each other.
"S-Sakura..." mumbles the Uchiha to Sakura.
"Yes?"
"Sakura." Sasuke repeats the name turning his gaze onto the floor to hide his embarrassed expression and blush.
"Yes, Sasuke-kun, I'm listening?"
Behind Sakura the blue-eyed boy giggles understanding what Sasuke's favourite flower is.
"..."?
Now completely red in the face the avenger abruptly sits up and flees the scene being irked that Naruto was laughing at him. "Tch, you know what? Nevermind!"
"Sasuke!" the boy dressed in orange calls after him.
"Wait Sasuke-kun." Sakura looks at his retreating figure.
Still blushing the dark-eyed boy grumbles under his breath with a scowl on his face. "That was a stupid question anyways!"
