Sasuke Uchiha catches the limp body of Sakura with his right arm in his pockets and the other holding her upright on her stomach. He doesn't want to leave the Hidden Leaf Village especially after her promises of happiness and love. But he needs to avenge his clan and even if he doesn't go after Itachi, he will come after Sasukes loved ones. His left arm gathers her legs up and his other switches it's position to hold her in bridal style. The Avenger carries her on a cold stone bench, without adrenaline pumping in his veins, the innocent girl is way heavier. Crouching beside the bench he looks at her beautiful tear-stricken face. He purposely avoided her eyes, he knew that if he saw them when he knocked her out, he wouldn't have followed through. For a split second he even considered taking her with him, but Sasuke knew that Sakura deserve es better than this.
The wind helps shedding the leafs from the nearby trees. It's getting colder, autumn is approaching. "If I carry her home, I will take to much time and risk getting caught from a jonin." muses Sasuke.
Sakuras hand is on Sasukes shoulder while saying his name in a sweet, innocent voice.
He lays his hand on top of hers and continues dwelling in their memories together.
The cherry blossom trees pink shade is put to shame with her long hair colored in soft pink swaying in the wind while saying his name in a cheerful voice.
He will never say it even if his life depended on it, but she was the only girl whose long hair he had liked. His hand moves to her hair, caressing it and marveling at how soft it is.
Her inviting soft looking lips saying his name in a hopeful voice with a pink hue spread across her cheeks is tempting.
Hand moving down to her putting mouth, he marvels how she can look so peaceful in her unconscious state. His thumb parts her lips.
Smiling softly with her luscious pink lips, her innocence was tempting but he didn't want to taint her with his darkness.
"Tch." The dark-haired boy scowls down at her. Leafs are whirling around them, ruffling his hair. Leaning down he claims her lips with his own, eyes closed and right hand on her hair. They are just as soft as they look and there is a warm feeling in his chest. Breaking apart he leans his forehead on hers, holding her petite hand in his. "Sakura... Why did you look at Naruto that way?!"
Sakura is smiling gently when he had told her it was Naruto who had saved her, not him from Gaara. She had smiled at him with a look in her eyes that was never directed at Sasuke.
"The way you've never looked at me before..." he is scowling at the memory. "I thought I was the on you liked?"
I love you with all my heart!
"Just look at me and only me! Don't look at Naruto that way!" The boy exclaimed in jealousy. Unconsciously he gripped her hand a bit to tight. "Traitor" panting after his little outburst he calms down. Lifting her hand up to his mouth, he kisses her palm and lays her arm gently beside her body. Looking down at her face with dried tears he tries to commit this moment to his memory.

It has been two and a half years since he left the Hidden Leaf Village. He heard some interesting rumors regarding his former teammates. For example: Naruto had left the Hidden Leaf to train with one of the Legendary Sannin, Jiraya. The Uzumaki hasn't come back yet to the village. And regarding Sakura he had heard she was training under Tsunade, the Slug Princess in Medical Ninjutsu. Kakashi supposedly joined the Anbu again. "He really dropped Sakura the moment Naruto and I left the village." He scoffs. The missing-nin plans to kill Orochimaru soon, he is dying and can't use his arms making him useless and an easy prey. Sighing to himself he turns around in his bed, it is made out of stone and not even remotely close to comfortable. Draping his arm over his eyes the Avenger continues musing in thoughts about his former team. Sasuke had heard that the pinkette healing abilities were that of a prodigy. When he had gotten a mission from the Snake Sannin to a peticular village, he had discovered a statue of Sakura there. He had asked the people why there was a huge statue of a girl in the middle of the village. The dark-haired boy was told that she had cured a virus that was deemed incurable and as a token of gratitude they had built a memorial of her and gave their village a new name: Sakura Spring Village. That was one and half years ago. He is looking forward to the reunion of them all. The Uchiha is pulled out of his thoughts by a knock on the door.
"Orochimaru-sama expects you for Training Sasuke-sama." Calls out a voice behind the door, most likely a servant.
Standing up and grabbing his Kusanagi the missed teammate walks out of the room leaving his thoughts behind.
