Two members of Team 7 can currently be found on a bridge taking a break from their mission. Sitting in the railing with a fishing rod in his hand, Naruto strikes up a conversation with Sakura, who her arms dangling down the railing looking up at the sky with a smile adorning her face. "Hey! Hey! Do you think we'll ever have a mission like the one with Tazuna again?" Wonders the Jinchūriki out loud remembering their first C-Rank mission which turned out to be an A-Rank mission in the Land of Wave.
"Hm? You mean out of the country." Curiously the girl next to him questions with a tilt of her head making her look adorable.
He nods at her question.
"Like an overnight one or where we can lodge together?" She inquires about his preferences.
"Yeah...'Cuz back home, it's just me alone." He replies to her simple question with a bitter smile on his face looking down at the fish swimming together..
Looking with a newfound knowledge at him she finally understand his constant attention seeking. "I see. He just didn't want to be alone and even though people lecture him about his pranks he still has their attention." Smiling at the things they had learned in that peticular mission Sakura replies to his former question. "I hope so. It was where everything started with Team 7! Hey let's make a promise."
"What promise Sakura-chan?"
"When we all have achieved our goals let's take a trip then to the Land of Wave as a memorial!" exclaims the girl excited with a fist outstretched to the blonde.
Wide-eyed and in disbelief that his crush supports his dream to become Hokage he takes his off the fishing rod and bumbs his fist with her while sporting a huge grin on his face. "Hell yeah, I promise! Believe it!" Suddenly the boy nearly falls of the railing due to something pulling on the hook if not for the pinkette hoisting him off the railing by his arm. "I catched something!" The Uzumaki shouts in glee pulling his catch out of the water. His smile drops at his find.
"It's an old boot!" shreeks Sakura pointing at it.
Naruto pouting at his catch with a giggling Haruno beside him with the birds chirping in the background giving a serene atmosphere. "I hope I can be nice too and not let my temper get the best of me." Muses Sakura while laughing at her teammate who is currently taking a sniff from the boot with a disgusted expression on his face.

"Good job today, now go to sleep." Smiles Kakashi looking at his three new precious people, turning the light off from the inn room they had rented for two nights because of their mission. He walks out of the room while his cute students lay in their futon. He already rums through his pouch to read his beloved book.
"..."
A cloudless sky with a direct view of the millions of stars with a crescent moon painted in the middle of it. The wind whistles in the background. A certain someone is restless and turns in his futon around. "I can't sleep at all!" fumes the Uchiha clenching his teeth in annoyance.

Dipping a foot in the water while repeating the same words over and over again with closed eyes she doesn't notice someone watching her behind the tree. Sakura currently sits on the edge of the stream swinging her legs in the water. "Be nicer. Be nicer." She mumbles looking at the water which reflects the night sky. "Sasuke-kun, Naruto and probably Kakashi-Sensei too... They all don't have someone to say 'I'm home' to. I wonder what mom and dad are doing right now. I hope they are doing well." She reflects on the thought that they have nobody to share their accomplishments with or home cooked meal. Tears gather in her eyes and she holds her tiny hand to her mouth to prevent a sob. Having an idea she stands up with a newfound determination and puts her sandals back on.
Sasuke is curious as to why she is sitting there alone. He watches her holding back a sob with tears in her eyes. He tilts his head at her in confusion. Seeing her getting up he quickly leaves without leaving a trace behind that he was there.

Team 7 had completed their assignment and were now strolling in the village they were staying. Having been given free time from their lazy Sensei who wanted to read his novel in peace, they had decided to take advantage of that. Seeing somethimg that gained Narutos attention he immediately runs off to it leaving his other two teammates behind.
Looking at Sasukes clueless expression she decides to take the initiative and hooks her arm with his. Taking his surprised face in and his rigid posture she starts walking with Sasuke in tow who didn't even have choice. The Avenger stops out of nowhere. Confused the Kunoichi looks at him in question. "... Sasuke-kun?
Avoiding her gaze and hiding his face in the collar of his blue shirt the dark-haired boy explains his intentions to her. "We're leaving the village tomorrow. Aren't you gonna buy souvenirs for your parents?"
Having a shocked expression she finally spots where Saukse stopped at. A souvenir shop.
"It's almost time to meet back up. Hurry up and decide and we'll go." Urges the Uchiha to the pinkette next to him.
With a a shy smile on her and a blush decorated on her cheeks she asks him the question which has been on her mind since he uttered the words about the souvenir shop. "Wanna pick them out together?"

"Yay, were home! There's no place like Konoha!" Shouts the future Hokage with his signature grin plastered on his face.
Behind him Kakashi hums in agreement and Sasuke simply smirks at his antics.
Gathering up her courage the pinkette scurries past the gates before her team. "I'm home!" Exclaims Sakura. Turning around she smiles at them with her hand clasped behind her back. "Sasuke-kun, Kakashi-Sensei, Naruto welcome Home!"
The said three wearing similar expressions of shock, each mirroring their own at their favorite Kunoichis action. Naruto the first to react grins and starts running towards the gates of Konoha. "I'm home!"
Sighing the Jonin walks past the gates ruffling Sakuras hair in the process a smile hidden underneath his mask. "I'm home."
Walking slowly even the Avenger participate in the action muttering two simple words which he hasn't said in years. "I'm home."
Smiling at the three who could finally say that they are home for the first time in a long time or in Narutos case for the first time ever.
