Present...

Next time Kim passes his jobs off on me, Chat Noir slides under the air duct as bullets litter the ground behind him, I'm not gonna report him. I'll just kick his ass.

The job was supposed to be simple: Locked safe in the master bedroom of a penthouse apartment. Steel six tumbler lock, single circuit alarm, four minute police response time, no weapons registered under the homeowner, half a million dollars worth of jewelry inside. Cake walk for a thief like him. Except Kim, or as he likes to call himself 'King Monkey', failed to mention the homeowner is the son of the director of MI6! With a security team on him 24/7!

So now, instead of silently making off with the jewels, Chat Noir is currently running across the rooftops with four different agents firing at him. Pistols, based on the sound of the gunshots. So Chat doesn't need to worry so much about outfoxing the shooters, just outrunning them.

As light footed as his namesake, Chat Noir vaults over the ledge to the next rooftop. Then he tic tacs off the roof access door to catch the lip of the next wall. He throws himself over while the agents behind him struggle to keep up.

He slides off the roof to land on the top of the exterior window. Adding some Chat Noir-style, he does a 360 layout as he jumps to the next building. As the black-clothed thief side flips onto the short rise in the building, he feels a 9mm round whizz inches past his hair

They're getting too close, Chat Noir thinks as pushes off the ledge to cross the alley below. He parkour rolls to his feet and whips out his collapsible staff. In only a second, he spots his target—the young agent six feet behind him—then throws his staff, nailing the boy squarely in the chest. The boy, having just climbed onto the short rise Chat Noir was on moments ago, falls flat on his back and knocks the wind out of him. The staff flies through the air before the cat burglar catches it as he continues his escape.

Chat is fast enough to get away from them, but he's more worried about what all of this attention is gonna bring. His father moved their operation to London with the expressed hope that none of us do anything reckless. They needed to keep a low profile before dangerous eyes landed on them. The police are a joke to a thief like him, espionage agents are a bit more difficult to deal with, but he knows the closer law enforcement is, the closer she is.

Chat Noir reaches the end of the block, leaving him with a double-lane street-sized chasm between him and the next ledge. In the distance, he can see the glass ceiling of Waterloo station where he needs to reach in the next ten minutes or he is screwed. He can hear the noisy footsteps of the agents chasing after him getting louder and louder.

Chat spots the telephone wire running across the roundabout, thinking this is a bad idea, Now's not the time to think. Sounds like the title of my autobiography.

He rushes forward, staff in hand, and leaps to the cable. Catching it with one hand, he swings forward wildly and desperately sets his staff on top. With his improvised zipline, he holds tight as he flies through the air, ignoring the cable swaying back and forth violently trying to throw him off. The zipline dips the closer he reaches the bottom, and without enough room to jump onto the roof, Chat Noir slips the staff free and lands on the closest window ledge. His arms catch the sides, stopping him from crashing into the room behind the glass.

Well that's a new trick, Chat thinks as he climbs over the window. He looks back to see the agents staring at him, stunned at either how stupid of a move it was or that it worked. The cat-costumed thief just grins cockily and mock-salutes them before running to catch the train.

Might be a good thing Kim passed this job off on me, Chat considers as he kong vaults another A/C unit then front flips onto the last building before Waterloo, I doubt he could've outran those agents faster than me. Probably would've roughed them up just to make sure they couldn't follow him. He definitely would've left the jewels behind.
