Chapter 2

FIORA'S POV

I could sense Seymour glancing at me whilst the game went on.

It was getting irritating.

I turned to face him and stared him down with glare.

"So terrifying"
Seymour mocked.

I watched as he smirked slightly.

My glare faltered.

"Hey don't make fun of me"
I retorted.

Seymour smirked.

I didn't like that.

"I'm doing a great service as a summoner to the uh not so charming people of Spira, you should take me serious"
I suggested.

"You've never once addressed me as one should be addressing a Maester"
Seymour stated.

He wasn't wrong.

"Sorry I forgot you took your Father's place, sometimes I still think that guys in power"
I shrugged.

It was true too.

I knew Seymour was now leader of the Guado and stuff like that but sometimes I don't process that.

I mean I've not met much Guado's as I've not been to Guadosalum but well growing up I kinda got used to hearing the stories of Lord Jyscal Guado not Seymour Guado.

I mean Jyscal seemed cool.

Well from what I'd heard.

I looked up and saw Seymour looked a bit annoyed.

"Sorry that was insensitive"
I apologized.

He probably didn't want to hear about his Dad being in power and how his replaced him.

I mean no one wants to talk about their dead parents.

"I was under the impression you didn't talk much but I see I've been proved wrong"
Seymour deadpanned.

I was getting quite talkative actually.

I don't usually.

I looked away but noticed something.

Seymour didn't seem upset about the previous topic like any normal person would be.

He just looked bitter.

Bitter at the mention of his Father.

It was quiet for a bit well except for the crowds and the Blitzball match.

We was on the finale match now.

The Auroch's was actually doing good for once.

They had a new guy on there team.

Yuna's lost guardian.

Well he looked lost.

Constantly.

He was a hell of a Blitzball player though.

There was two of her Guardian's taking part actually.

Maybe I should just pluck a future guardian of mine out of a Blitzball match.

I really did need to think about a Guardian though.

The match was getting good and I was invested.
