Chapter One

It was the first day of my senior year of high school. I didn't know how to feel about it, everyone said that it would be the best and saddest time. I like to say that your senior year symbolizes your childhood ending and adulthood starting.

Although most kids already think that they are adults, it never really hits them till they walk across that stage and have to prepare for what colleges they want to attend. I've always been the popular girl in school. It never felt right thought, I am really smart like extremely smart.

I never really show that I'm as smart as I am, I feel that if I show the actual potential I have I'll never live a normal life. Even though I still get straight A's I never feel as complete. Everyone thinks that my life is perfect, but it's far from that. My mom is a Hairstyle while my dad is a mechanic.

Neither one of them graduated high school, my mom got pregnant with me at 17 and dropped out. My dad was supposed to go to the NBA but busted his knee which ended his career. I have two younger sisters, Nia who is just a fireball. She is 15 and a sophomore in high school.

That girl is ready to fight anyone and everyone if she has to. Destiny is 4. She is just as sweet as she can be, I don't know how that girl stays so positive, but I hope that joy never leaves her.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, which bothered me so badly because I'm not a morning person. I got up and went to Nia's room to wake her up. I have to wake this girl up five minutes before her alarm or she'll sleep right through it.

"Nia, wake your ass up. I don't have time to be waiting on you." "Get out" "Alright, when I'm ready to go and you're not done, I'm leaving your ass. I'm telling you right now" I went to my bathroom and took a shower and did the rest of my hygiene routine.

I got a text from the group chat with all of my friends telling each other Goodmorning. I put my phone down so that I can find my clothes for the day. I finally found an outfit and put it on. When I checked my phone, I have so many messages from the group chat.

RIHANNA: good morning bitches

TIA: Morning

RIHANNA: That was the dries good morning i have ever heard.

TAMERA: Its 5:45 in the morning. What do you want from us?

RIHANNA: Yall bitches must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

RIHANNA: ANYWAYS....ITS OUR SENIOR YEAR BITCHES

RYAN: IM SO HAPPY.

RYAN: Do y'all know if we got the email with our schedule? I want to see if we have any classes together.

TAMARA: Me and Tia got ours yesterday.

RIHANNA: I just checked. I got mine

RYAN: Ok, what do y'all have for 1st, 3rd, 6th

TIA: Why those periods

RYAN: Because I don't have a 2nd, 4th, 5th

TAMARA: Why

RYAN: BECAUSE THATS HOW I WANTED MY SCHEDULE. Any more questions?

RIHANNA: LOSE THE FUCKING ATTUDITE, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YALL SHIT TODAY

RYAN: whatever, I'll just see y'all at school

Rihanna hates it when any of us have any attuite. She thinks we lose our tempers to fast, which is true. She is like the mama bear of the group. The twins Tia and Tamera are the shit starters, and then you have Ryan who is the model of the group. That girl loves to taking pictures, I truly believe that she is going to be a famous model when she finishes college.

I went downstairs to make myself some breakfast. I guess my mom had the same idea, she was already down there cooking. "Good morning mama" I gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Morning baby." I started to make my plate with the food that was already done, till my dad came downstairs.

I was confused because he is never home in the morning. He and my mom are both police officers, but my dad works nights most of the time. The only time we see him is the weekends, "Good morning dad! What are you doing here so early? Why are you not at work? Omg did you get fired?" "Slow down, I didn't get fired. I just miss seeing y'all in the morning so I asked if I could work during the day so that I can see y'all more."

"Oh, so you will be here every morning?" He looked at me confused but also shocked at my question. "Yeah, is that a problem?" I shook my head. I finished my breakfast and yelled for Nia to come on before we're late. My mom hit me on my arm. "Ow, what was that for?" "Stop yelling before you wake Destiny up" I grabbed my keys and went outside to the car.

I waited a few minutes for Nia to come out, I eventually texted her that I was leaving and that she is just going to have to catch the bus. I wanted to get to school early so that I could found my classes.

Today was going to be a long day.
