(I'm not trying to make Tanjiro not strong it's just that I personally don't think i can handle writing angst or heavy fighting but he is still strong he is just growing lol)

That made both Tanjiro and muichiro shocked. Zenitsu starts to press the knife closer to Tanjiro neck making muichiro back up a bit, "not so strong now huh?" Zenitsu says in a mocking tone "I will let Tanjiro live if you let me keep him" zenitsu mentions, "NO I WON'T STAY WITH YOU!!" Tanjiro yells then grabs the knife with his left hand and uses his right hand to grab to his arm.(I forgot to say last chapter that zenitsu also untied the ropes on his hands and/or legs)

Tanjiro holding the knife with his bare hand shocked both zenitsu and muichiro. Tanjiro then kicks zenitsu's head and rolls to the floor making a loud thud. "TANJIRO QUICK BEHIND ME!" Muichiro says in a panicked tone, Tanjiro forces himself up and starts running to muichiro but then felt something pierce his leg....... Zenitsu shot him... "AUGHHH OWWUGW, MY LEG" Tanjiro yells in pain while slowly falling to the floor.

"TANJIRO!" Muichiro yells out but before he could go to Tanjiro, zenitsu beats him to it and points a gun at him. Zenitsu crouches down to Tanjiro and grabbed his hair with his other hand which made him scream in more pain "you can't escape me Tanjiro..." zenitsu says while gripping harder on his hair making him cry 'dammit if I move he might shoot me' muichiro thinks.

"You know... I didn't lose yet" muichiro says which makes zenitsu confused, but before zenitsu can say anything he got shoot with 2 tranquilizers "WHAT DID YOU DO?" Zenitsu screams confused before passing out. "Sorry that we arrived late" a guy with black hair with 2 different eye color said with a dude next to him with white hair and scars littered all over him

"It's alright, iguro and sanemi" muichiro said while walking towards Tanjiro who is currently passed out due to pain of his leg being shot and his hair getttinf grabbed harshly "we need to bring my beloved, back to the palace." Muichiro says in a slightly happy tone to finally be with Tanjiro again.(sorry if I spelled any names wrong btw)

(Timeskip)
Tanjiro has woken up to the same medical room with shinobu on the side of him.
"Oh, you're awake!" She says with a genuine smile, "since you got shot in your leg, you can't walk for a while."
She says while injecting some painkillers in his leg, "so I just have to lay here or is there something can help me walk?" Tanjiro says with a hint of worry in his voice. "Luckily the bullet didn't go too deep in your leg so you might just need crutches" Shinobu says with a slight smile.

"Now I have to tell your 'soon to be husband' that you're awake!" Shinobu says quickly then runs out the room leaving Tanjiro by himself blushing and confused. 'SOON TO BE HUSBAND!!!' Tanjiro freaks out and still is a blushing mess. "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!" He yells to himself while repeatedly smacking both his cheeks to stop his blushing.

(After a few minutes)
Muichiro finally goes inside the medical seeing Tanjiro taking deep breathes with his eyes closed. So muichiro being muichiro he went closer to Tanjiro. "Boo." Muichiro says in monotone voice, before anything else can happen Tanjiro punches him while screaming "ow my nose, you hit a lil hard there" muichiro says while holding his nose. "IM SO SORRY!!" Tanjiro says while blush starts to appear on his face, "it's alright.... Now why are you blushing?" Muichiro says while smirking under his hand, but Tanjiro could obviously tell that he is smirking with his tone.

Tanjiro ignores his question and turns his head while blushing more which makes muichiro tease him more.

(Meanwhile in another pov)
"Wow I would never expect a loner like you to care about people!" Shinobu says in teasing tone to none other than GIYU TOMIOKA. "I'm... not a loner, I have friends." Giyuu says with a monotone voice with a straight face. That makes shinobu surprised because he normally doesn't respond to her. "So you can actually talk huh!" Shinobu says with her iconic smile.

(Back to main ship!)
'I think I'm falling for Tanjiro again' Muichiro thought while looking at Tanjiro beautiful smile. "Tanjiro, again...I'm sorry for hitting you, i was just pissed and I took my anger out on your for no reason so... I hope you can forgive me" muichiro says while looking deeply into tanjiro's BEAUTIFUL eyes "it's ok, I touched something that was yours without asking and I'm at fault aswell but I forgive you and I hope you forgive me too" Tanjiro says with a sad smile. Muichiro hugs Tanjiro and he hugs back, Tanjiro was trying his hardest not to cry because during those times he tried to run away from muichiro and ignore him.... He actually missed him.

Soon after their emotional moment muichiro left the room to let Tanjiro sleep, while he was trying to sleep he remembered that he forgot to ask why shinobu said "soon to be husband", "thinking to hard makes my head hurt, I think I should for real sleep." Tanjiro says while slowly falling asleep.

(908 words without this paragraph/sentence, I FINALLY MADE A CHAPTER AFTER SO LONG. I actually LOVED this chapter except for the ending tbh I actually didn't know what to put for the ending so I closed it off with Tanjiro sleeping but anyways have a good day/night!
