Chapter 1: Into a New World

Skyelle finds herself in a new place where two unfamiliar people find her in a forest of some sort.

Oh, and another new person comes along. And was that a sword?

I cough, and see two unfamiliar people standing over me. A girl has her hands on her knees, yelling to someone. "Bow! Over here, I've found someone!" 

I dash to get up as soon as her friend walks over, holding a huge tablet? "Oh. That's not it..." He looks down, and I ask her. "Is this normal?" She nods. "I'm- I'm a little lost. I'll just go now- ah!" She grabs my arm.

"Are you sure that you're "just lost"?" She can see through me... I gulp. "Ugh, no. I just don't know how I got here."

"Well, I'm Glimmer, and this is Bow, my best friend." He waves while still looking down. "Skyelle. What're you doing out here?" Her friend replies, "Looking for First Ones-" She shuts him up with a hand on the mouth.

My blue eyes look concerned. "Uhm, okay." I then ask them, "Can I come with you? I know it's a lot to ask for. But I might... have nowhere to go." She looks at her friend, and he looks at her.

"It's your call Glimmer." She nods, eyes closed. "Sure, I might have to ask my mom, but besides that, it should be fine." I beam. "Thanks, can I join in whatever you're doing for now?"

They agree, and we walk. After awhile we've been walking for ages, and I breathe out. I miss messing with water. I am so bored right now.

"Come on! Come on!" Bow says, and I look over as he keeps messing with his tablet. Glimmer speaks up, "Uh! Please tell me we're not lost!" I hum. "I hope not."

I then see something glowing and I tap Glimmer's shoulder, pointing in the direction of it. "No, this thing is just acting up. Looks like it's being overloaded by the tech's signal. We must be getting close!" 

She looks at me, and she smiles. "Uhh... I think it's that way." He looks up at us. Then at the light. "Oh, yeah. That'll do it."

We make our way to the light, spotting another female going towards what looks like a sword. "Uhm guys?" Glimmer sees what's going on, tackling the girl.

I dash to grab the sword, throwing it in Bow's direction. He catches it, throwing it to Glimmer. "Gimme the sword! I don't want to hurt you." She gasps.

"Since when do Horde soldiers not want to hurt anyone?" I look confused. "What?" Glimmer explains to me what  Horde soldiers are and what they do.

"Oh yeah. Keep the sword away then." Then the blonde touches the sword, a flash of light blinding us. I have a memory of the Tower of Light pop up.

At some point they capture the girl, and we start walking again. They go off on how the girl's people were murderous, and I was busy in my own thoughts.

And then a giant bug comes out of nowhere, making me panic. Glimmer tries to attack it, but fails. Without anyone noticing, I find some water, bending it to attack the bug.

However I wasn't expecting the girl to pick up the sword, transforming into... a warrior princess? As soon she got up, she screams and drops it.

Glimmer takes the sword, and we come across an old building. I speak up. "What does that say?" Adora answers. "Eternia." It glows, opening for us.

"What." Glimmer's eyes roll. "How'd you read that? No-one has spoken First Ones language in years." Bow seemed surprised. "I- I don't know." Nothing made sense for me...

The village we came across was full of villagers laughing and having a party. Bow asks Adora if she hasn't had a party before. It was kinda sad, growing up with no actual fun.

And then suddenly there's explosions going off. I duck down. Tanks were every where. I see a cat person talking to Adora, making me suspicious.

She then shocks her, making me dash toward them. "What the-?" I hit her with fire, making the cat screech in pain. Glimmer gives Adora the sword. "We need She-Ra. I was stupid to take it away, but we need your help!" 

I nod at her, and she transforms. "For the honor of Greyskull!" We watch in shock as she changes, and she attacks the tanks.

Cheering was heard as she turns back. "You did it! You saved everyone!" She looks behind me, and I turn to see an angry Catra glaring at us. Mainly Adora. And then she looks me over, fleeing from the village. 

Adora: "Catra..." I look over. She looks sad, and heartbroken. "Oh gosh! Why did I do that? I can't go back now." Glimmer walks over to us. "Well, maybe you can stay with us? I mean Skyelle is anyways..." I nod.

"It's okay, my mom will know what to do. She knows about the First Ones. Maybe she can help you!" Bow hugs us and says, "Best Friends Squad!" We laugh and start walking home, my eyes glance back again. I see a red shadows eye narrow at me. 

'Oh God... Why can't I stay out of trouble?' I see my new friends talking. Adora notices me, and comes back to talk to me. "Hey, I kinda didn't introduce myself. I'm Adora." I take her hand. "Skyelle."

She asks me, "And how'd you get roped into this? It wasn't against your will, was it?" She whispers. I laugh. "No, I just didn't know where..." "To go?" She finishes for me.

I answer. "Yeah." She hugs me sideways, patting my arm. "Well, it's nice to know that I'm not alone." I smile. "Thanks."

I was angry. Catra failed to get Adora back, and failed on the mission to get her back. I still had the image of the unfamiliar girl in my head.

She clearly wasn't from around here. And I could sense some... different magic from within her. My spy returns, and my eyes narrow from behind my mask.

"Hmm..." I must keep a close eye on this one. Who knows what types of secrets she held...
