"Let me get this straight-"

A young male, who looked not much older than Kemu, said disbelievingly, swirling a glass of red wine in one hand.

"You want us to handle possibly the three most dangerous people of this generation?"

"I'm more surprised she trusts us." Another male, around the same age as the first, replied, picking at a piece of paper on Rikono's desk.

"I trust you because you've been with me since day one, and I don't think you would bring yourselves to...ahem, eliminate 3 hapless teens who have no control whatsoever over their Marks." Rikono answered calmly, sipping her coffee. "And anyways, I trust Raiden to keep you two under reigns."

"I asked you not to call me by my first name, Rikono," The young male called Raiden said exasperatedly. He looked a little bit older than the other two, having sharp orange eyes and the unusual color purple as his long hair's color.

"Why not? You're the eldest between the three, Raikou." Rikono laughed, setting down the coffee cup.

"That's better." Raikou muttered under his breath.

"Anyways..." Rikono paused to let the other two finish attempting to strangle one another. When they finally did, she flipped open a spiral notebook and held it out to one of them, which was the one holding the wine glass.

He gave the notebook a skeptical look before setting down the glass and taking it, cracking it open.

"Holy shit. Asheki, get over here."

He said after a moment.

"What?" Asheki, the other one aside from him, asked, looking over his shoulder. "Oh. Oh my." Asheki said, brows raised.

"What are you two-" Raikou started, looking over Asheki's head before stopping dead in his tracks. "Rei, give me the notebook." Raikou said quietly.

"Don't wanna." Rei answered.

"Rei....don't be a pain in the ass again." Raikou hissed.

"Make me."

The two men glared at eachother for a long second, before Raikou sighed and gave it up, turning to Rikono.

"Rikono...are you sure-?" His words were again cut off.

"She has reacted spectacularly to the Dark Matter in her body at such a young age. I'm sure." Rikono said firmly.

Raikou, sensing that it was probably pointless to argue, sighed.

"I'm just saying, Rikono, that if something happens to girl because of these.... experiments of yours, the blame will befall you." He warned her, shaking his head.

Rikono looked him in the eye, her own amber ones piercing into his.  "I am very much aware, thank you, Raikou." She said curtly. "Now, I would appreciate it if all three of you give me some privacy for the time being."

Rei and Asheki exchanged glances and shrugged, getting up from the chintz armchairs.

"So... who's gonna have to deal with which?" Rei asked, giving Rikono a mock innocent look.

"That's kept to me." Rikono answered, a smile pulling at her lips.

"As long as I don't get the Nightmare girl." Asheki muttered out of the corner of his mouth.

"Night, Ms. Ringleader," Rei said teasingly as he left the room.

"Dont give me Little Miss Nightmare." Asheki requested before leaving the room himself, leaving Raikou and Rikono alone in the room.

Raikou gave Rikono a fleeting look.

"I'm warning you, Elfia. If anyone of them goes the same way as my sister, I will personally make sure you don't live another day." He hissed softly, before exiting.

Rikono stared after him, unfazed, before casting her gaze at the slowly brightening sky.

"The Nightmare, the Phoenix and the Ocean," Rikono said softly, closing her eyes.

"Oh, how long has it been since those three have been seen on the earth..."

She opened her eyes, remembering the three people that had left.

She knew they weren't actually mortals. She knew they didn't have good intentions, but neither did they have bad.

Rikono stood up and pulled her black coat around her shoulders.

The teens weren't going to teach themselves...

Or so she thought.

Uruake hadn't been able to sleep. She hadn't been able to catch one wink of it since Alora had woken up. She was troubled, so she stepped outside to get a breather when she almost screamed herself. Outside was made completely out of glass - the floor, the walls.

Calming her pounding heart, she looked around.

Nothing was around here except....silver mirrors.

They lined the walls, beckoning.

Uruake, curious, walked over and pressed her hand against one at random.

It gave way.

Glancing around to see if the coast was clear, Uruake sank her arm up to the elbow into the mirror. The other side was wet and resistant, and felt a lot like water.

Then out of nowhere, something slimy, scaly, and definitely foreign grabbed her hand from the other side.

She didn't even get to scream before she got pulled into the mirror and into the unknown.
