So that's what Violet meant.I found myself on the sparring mat and Bodhi Durran in front of me. Compared to me, he looked pretty happy with his mischievous smile. Oh sweet Malek, why did that guy have to have dimples? Like most men, Bodhi was shirtless and showed me his perfect body. He looks like he was created by a sculptor and he seemed to know it. His arm and abs looked so unrealistic and I had to stop myself from going up to him and touching him. What the hell is wrong with me?! Focus, Alice!

"Are you going to keep staring at me or should we start, angel?" I had to roll my eyes at his comment, but wait, did he just call me angel? I got into position and stretched my arms out. Unlike the other hands, my hands were open so I could better reach sensitive areas of my body. This made my fight special compared to others.Bodhi took the first step. He swung around and focused on my left shoulder, but I saw the movement coming and dodged before I swallowed his rib. He swallowed hard, but before I could do anything, I kicked his legs out from under him so that he was on the floor and I was on top of him. My left hand is on his windpipe, ready to knock him down, my right is holding his own hand, pinned to the ground next to his head. One of my legs was between his legs, close to his cock, and the other was on his left arm.

He looks at me shocked. He probably didn't expect that. Now I smiled. "Are you giving in?" I asked him. "You'd probably like that." And suddenly I was on my back and he had me pinned to the ground. How the hell? I got distracted and I was way too confident. He saw his chance like I did a second ago."Fuck you, asshole!" And with that I wrapped my legs around his waist and rolled us over. I saw the fire in his eyes when I was above him again. If he wants a real fight, let him have it. He put his hands on my waist and arms and pushed me off him. I caught myself with a roll and stood up again."Maybe you're not an angel after all, but a little devil," said Bodhi before he kicked.

A sharp pain shot through my right knee as it gave way beneath me. Bodhi paused for the next blow as I gave him a roundhouse kick. I know that sounds unrealistic but that's exactly why I learned things like this. I make the impossible possible."I never claimed to be an angel and the fact that you thought I was one just makes me realize how much you underestimate me." with that I lunge and hit him in the face. his lip split open as my hand collided with it.It has become more crowded around our mat. Cadets watched eagerly, some seemed shocked that I hadn't given up yet, even though Bodhi was in his third year. I saw my brother who just shook his head. But this time it was a shake of the head with an amused smile, he knew what I was doing here. "Stop playing with him Elena," my brother said loudly so everyone could hear him.

I've always liked to put on a show, even with Augustine Melgren, who trained me for three years when I was 10. Back then I always lost but today I would finish him off. Not just because of my abilities, but because of the pure hatred I felt towards him."Seriously, Graycastle, do you want to make an enemy in the first round of sparring?" a boy from my year asked, looking at Bodhi. He grimaced as he licked his lip with his tongue. I felt my middle tighten, how much I wanted to kiss him.

He sensed my gaze and stood up. I suggested he was devaluing. He struck and I discounted. It was a back and forth until he grabbed my arm and pulled me into his chest, his arm around my neck."You really seem to be just watching this as a game. But I can play and I enjoy doing it. Let's see how much longer you can hold out." He whispered in my ear as his arm tightened around my neck and began to knock the air out of me. I bit him and pulled away, spinning around on my own axis and hitting him in the windpipe with the side of my hand. He fell to the ground, gasping for breath.

"The match is over. Elena Graycastle has won." shouted Professor Emetterio. He looked worriedly at Bodhi, who was still holding his neck but could breathe normally again. He stood up and came close to me. "Next time I'll win, devil." and with that he left the mat and walked over to a girl with pink hair who was laughing at him.

I walked over to my brother, who put an arm around my shoulder. He wasn't on the mat yet, but I was excited to see who he had to face. Thanks to Violet, I had to compete against Bodhi, even though it's rare to compete against someone from the first year, and especially not on the first day.

The crowd had died down and I looked around. Dain had a bright red face and stared between me and Bodhi. What the hell? We never had a good relationship, which is why I found his reaction questionable. My eyes met Violet, who was now standing next to Bodhi and the pink-haired girl. Violet's eyes met mine and she couldn't help but grin. I held out my middle finger to her.

I scanned the crowd again and saw Sawyer walking toward me. "Well, I didn't expect that." He said to me with a smile on his face. "That was nothing. However, here and there I had the feeling that you couldn't concentrate." Cam looked at me with raised eyebrows. I felt my face blush and quickly looked away.

"That's correct. Has anyone had their eye on Bodhi Durran?" Sawyer asked mockingly. I glared at him and shook my head. "My standard is pretty high and from what I've seen so far, he can't achieve that." That wasn't entirely true. Sure, I had a claim, but Bodhi Durran went above and beyond. He was perfect, too perfect.

"Keep telling yourself that." Cam replied. He and Sawyer continued to talk to me, chatting about what tensions there were between Bodhi and me. Tension between Bodhi and me? Absolutely, but I couldn't tell what kind of tension it was. Sawyer had to keep walking, but before he left he turned back to us. "Aalic, I like you. You're sympathetic. Elena, you are stupid. And if I were you, maybe I would talk to Bodhi so that he doesn't live up to your standards." He got goosebumps at the word standard and nodded in the opposite direction. I flipped him off before looking in the direction he had nodded.

Bodhi stood leaning against the wall, staring at me. When he saw me looking at him, he nodded toward the door and left the hallway. "Hey Aalic, my leg hurts a lot, I'll go to Nolon sometime." I said to my brother. He gave me a quick look and then nodded. He hadn't seen Bodhi because he was busy staring at Sloane himself. I smiled slightly before quickly darting through the mange. I braked slightly before stepping through the door into the hallway.

Hands grabbed me and pulled me around a corner, my back hitting the cold stone wall as someone pressed against me. Bodhi's fingers held my chin so that I looked into his eyes. "You're the real devil, you know that? In all my years here, I've never let anyone distract me as much as you." His face was close to mine and his eyes sparkled. "And what can I do about it, Guapo?"And then his lips were on mine. I returned the kiss and buried my hands in his hair and neck to feel him even closer to me. His hands slid from my back to my thighs.

I wrapped my legs around his waist and felt his hardness press against my core. He released my mouth and started sucking on my neck. I pulled my neck further back so he had more space. Shit, I had never felt like this before. We were hot and I felt that I needed more. I needed him and as if he had heard my thoughts he pressed his lips to mine again.Suddenly we heard a scream coming from the hall and we broke away from each other, or rather we jumped away from each other. "Sorry, that was a mistake," he said to me and ran back to the hall.
