As she makes it to the top of the well, tears still flow from her eyes. Her arms were now wrapped around her younger brother. She couldn't believe she was back, she was home. The two hugged for what felt like forever, as they pulled away from one another. "I can't believe your back! Did you go where Kagome was?!", she nods at his question still trying to grasp what had happened and how. None of the scenarios in her head could have been like this, how she imagined she would be home. "Sota how long have I been gone?", she asks looking straight into the boys' eyes, for a time in both worlds is different. The boy looks down at his feet and kicks a small pebble before speaking, "Almost a month is". Her eyes widen, I've been gone for a month?! She couldn't believe the words that came out of Sotas mouth.

Yuki jumps down off the well, takes Sotas hand, and leads out of the shrine. Into the bright sun that beamed over them, she looked at the beautiful sky with the birds chirping, the wind blowing through her hair and into the trees. Another voice makes its way to their ears. "Sota? Yuki?!", the woman calls out. Yuki glances in the direction the voice is coming from, tears now forming again in her eyes. "Mom!", she yells now racing towards her mother's arms. The two were now in a tight embrace, her mother stroking the head of her crying daughter, tears streaming down Sotas face. The mother pulls Sota into the hug, with now all three crying in the embrace.

A sigh of relief echoes through the bathroom. The water ran into the tub as it was halfway full. Yuki dips her body into the warm water, every muscle in her body now relaxing from the warmth of the water. "Oh how I missed shampoo", she proclaims to herself. Moments pass; Yuki now changing into PJs, makes her way down to the kitchen area, she stops and listens. "No, I will not lose another daughter to that stupid well!", she hears her mother as she is yelling at her grandpa. "So what do you just plan to do? Destroy the well?! If Yuki comes back Kagome can too!!", he shouts the words echoing through Yuki and her mother, I could bring Kagome home?.. "Yes! I can't lose another daughter too, even if it means losing Kagome in the process. Besides we couldn't make her come back anyways since she is in love with that dog demon", the mother protests slamming the pot down on the table. The grandfather taken aback by her actions, sighed and nodded at her. He now agrees with her, for he also doesn't want to lose another grandchild.

Yuki's heart raced, and the adrenaline rushed through her body as she rushed back to her room closing the door. She's gonna destroy the well?! What about Kagome?! I need to get back, if I go back they can't destroy the well. Yuki sits down at her desk in her room, thinking of a thousand ways she could return to the other world. Her heart skips a beat as Sesshomaru appears in her head, her face now turning a bright red. His face taunts her mind as she now realizes who else she would be leaving if the well is gone for good. For she now fears she's just like her older sister, in love with the demon. Yuki's mind is racing, millions of thoughts rushing through, she can't seem to focus not one bit. A knock appears at her door, "Come in". Her grandfather walks through the door, a look of sadness marking his whole face. "Yuki, there is something I need to-", Yuki slaps him before he can finish. Tears rushed down her face, "You and Mom are gonna destroy the well knowing my sister is on the other side of it!! I could bring her home!". His face is a bit frightened at the actions of his granddaughter, but his face now turns soft with a gentle smile and nods. He places his hand on her shoulder, now making eye contact, "Yes your mother wants to destroy the well, for you know me. That well holds great sentimental values to this family that I cannot part with either, and I think you should return to the world your sister is in.". The words echoed into Yuki's ears from what her grandfather said, he wants me to go back to feudal Japan. She nods at his response, her grandfather with now an even bigger smile on his face takes his leave from Yuki's room. Yuki falls behind him closing the door, shutting the lights off, and climbing into her bed. For now, she has a new mission, to find a way back to feudal Japan.

As the sun rises, it peeks its way into Yuki's window. Shining down onto her black hair, she flutters her eyes open looking at the bright light from her window. She stretches and sits up from her bed looking at her phone. She now has several messages from friends who haven't heard from her in a month but she doesn't care. She slides her slippers on making her way to the closet door to change, she throws on a beautiful beige dress with flowers covering the bottom half getting smaller as they go up the dress. She peaks out the window after changing to see Sota with his friends playing catch outside. She can't help but smile at her younger brother, for when Kagome left them it's been 4 years. The thought of her brother now losing two sisters pieced her mind, it hurt a lot knowing he'd be alone but he was strong.

Yuki makes her way down the stairs and into the kitchen, hoping to not run into her mother. Dreading the conversation that would be brought up between the two. She opens the fridge door and grabs an apple, sitting at the table and eating her breakfast. Yuki's mind still thinking of ways to get back to the feudal era, ways to get back to Kagome for she longs to see her sister again. Minutes pass and sharp pain comes from the left side of Yuki's body, she whines in pain clutching her side. The pain gradually subsided, she leaned onto the table trying to catch her breath. Her mother walks into the room with a concerned look on her face as she sees her daughter hunched over the table, "Yuki are you alright?", she places her hand on Yuki's back. She nods and stands up from the table giving her mom the biggest hug. The two embrace for a moment and Yuki pulls away, turning towards the door she grabs her backpack and heads out.

Yuki makes her way over to her brother, "Sota!", she calls out to him. He looks over in her direction and gives her a wave, she motions her hand for him to come over to her and he comes. "What's up sis?", the boy asks his older sister with a puzzled look on his face. A smile crosses Yukis' face, "I'm going back to where Kagome is Sota. I can at least try to bring her home!". Sotas eyes widen with enlightenment then turn saddened. "What if you don't come back either Yuki?", his words pierced her heart. She looks down at the ground knowing that she may not come back as well. She grabs her younger brother into a big hug, he hugs her back fighting back the tears in his eyes as his friends watch them from afar. Yuki then pulls from her brother's embrace, now making her way towards the shrine. As she stops at the doors, the wind blows through her hair, the chills going down her neck. The words still echo through her end that her younger brother said, but she knows deep in her heart she must go back no matter what. That week she felt being in Feudal Japan was the best week of her life and she wasn't giving it up so easily. She pushes the doors open and takes slow, gentle steps towards the well. As she takes the final step in front of the well, her body now aching again from the pain in her side. Her body leaned over the well, she looked into it seeing a nice blue sky on the other side, her heart skipped a beat knowing that she could see the other side. Just before she makes the jump still clenching the side of her body, her mother calls out to her, "Wait Yuki please!". She turns and looks back at her mother, her face puffy and red from crying. She pulls Yuki in a tight embrace, soaking the sides of her shoulder straps with tears. "Promise me you'll be alright my dear," Yuki smiles at the words of her mother. "I promise Mom", her mother smiles and places a kiss on her forehead. Yuki now on top of the well, smiles back at her mother before jumping back into it. A light flashes from the bottom, her mother peers over the edge no longer seeing her daughter.
