Flight SQ883 landed at Singapore Changi Airport at 8:30 pm. By 10:30 pm Huh Yunjin, secretary of the Source Board of Directors, was settled into her hotel bed, freshly showered and hair braided back to keep out of her face.
The hotel bathrobe she had wrapped her body into was probably one of the softest materials she had ever touched, the view from her balcony over the city and Marina Bay breathtaking if not overwhelming, and the food she had ordered in being the best she has had in a while - her usual diet consisting of whatever Yena put on her desk that day and takeout from the food court down her street.
She had originally been skeptical about tagging along to the trip when Chaewon had asked her to come along, but she had been very insistent that she would be needed during the meeting and that Chaewon would 'love for her to be at the gala to keep her company', and at her core Yunjin was weak.
So she had packed her bags, done all the research on the meeting she could - still not quite sure why she was the one going instead of any of the other people on the board who would have a much better grasp of the situation as well as of how to handle discussions like that. But here she was, sitting in one of the biggest beds she's ever seen, in her own suite, overlooking Singapore and more than a little terrified of the days to come.
Some part of the brain was angry at herself for giving in so easily just because Chaewon had asked nicely and Yunjin was more than a little gay and maybe had a little crush on her boss since the day she had first arrived at the office, but the rest of her brain was screaming at her to just enjoy an all-expenses paid vacation to Singapore in a hotel she could never dream of affording and with someone she rarely got to spend more than a couple minutes outside of meetings with.
Her phone vibrated on the bed next to her, pulling her out of her thoughts.
Chaewon: Come smoke with me?
Yunjin wasn't stupid, she knew it wasn't an actual request, she knew there was little to no room for her to deny the offer.
Chaewon didn't make requests, she said what she wanted and got it in return, no matter if she voiced it as a question or an order. She had a sense of authority around the office that not many of the others did, Yena always trying her best to seem human even when she continuously overworked herself, and Sakura still not quite having proven what her day to day job as owner of the company was, considering all the workload fell onto Chaewon as CEO.
But the blonde woman could snap with her fingers and the entire office would come scrambling to make sure her every need was met.
So Yunjin quickly slipped out of bed, grabbed a dress from her open suitcase on the floor and a pair of flat shoes before quickly throwing her phone, the keycard and some money into her purse and making her way to the room number she had put down as Chaewon's. She really hoped it was the right room.
The room wasn't too far from hers, and when Chaewon let her in, Yunjin was surprised to see that the room looked the exact same as hers. She had expected the woman to get an even better suite, to look for something with even more luxuries than what she had given to Yunjin.
"Come outside with me," Chaewon hummed, kicking the door shut behind Yunjin. "The weather is beautiful."
Chaewon had gotten changed since the flight as well, dressed in a short black satin dress that was just loose enough to bunch together in all the right places and accentuate her figure, black heels that Yunjin really didn't understand the point of considering they weren't going outside - unless Chaewon still had plans for after this - and a hint of makeup on her face that Yunjin swore had not been there earlier.
Her hair was neatly put together in a bun behind her back, falling out of it and down her back, framing her.
Yunjin was suddenly unsure how she was supposed to survive this trip.
