(Y/N) POV

Adam driving well can't say I won't be scared with him behind the wheel, even when he was practicing I was scared. Currently, I was in the living room throwing and catching a frozen sphere while Bree read her magazine from beside me, Adam and Davenport left a little while ago for Adam to take his driver's test. Leo kept pacing around the room and Chase came over and sat down next to me to play games on his phone.

Leo sighs and walks over to us "I cannot believe Adam's not back from his driving test. What's taking him so long?"

Bree looks up from her magazine "Two words: Adam. Test."

Chase looks up from his game "Man, if he passes, it's good news for us and bad news for everyone on the road." He goes back to playing his game with a chuckle "Or the sidewalk."

Leo starts to whine and walk around the couch "Well, he has to pass. I need him to drive me to that party on Saturday."

Chase looks over at Leo "What party?"

Leo chuckles to himself then stops "The one you weren't invited to."

Bree sets her magazine down and looks over at Leo "You got invited to Caroline Davis' party and I didn't?"

I pout a little "I didn't get invited either"

Chase sighs "Neither did I!"

Bree turns over to Chase "Well, no surprise there." Chase scoffs as Bree turns back over to Leo "But why were you invited?"

Leo sighs "Oh, Bree, I'm climbing the social ladder. There are now three or four ladies who make eye contact with me in the hallway." I raise an eyebrow at him "Okay, it's two! But I'm going to the party."

The door starts opening we jump up from the couch thinking it was Adam but then groan and sit back down when Tasha enters the room "It's just you."

Tasha shuts the door "Nice to see you, too."

Leo sighs "Sorry, mom. How's it going?"

Tasha smiles "Great. I've had the best day. It all started when I went to--"

The door starts to open so Leo pushes Tasha out of the way "Save it for later, woman! Adam's here!"

Bree, Chase, and I run up next to Leo as Davenport walks into the house "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Mission Creek's newest fully licensed driver!" We look waiting for Adam to walk in but he does "Adam, that's you."

I shake my head with a smile waiting for my boyfriend "Oh, right." Adam runs into the house "Woo-hoo, I passed!" he then spots me and walks over and picks me up with one arm for a hug while he still holds up his license in the other hand.

We all start cheering as Davenport walks over to Tasha "He really impressed me. He got a 96 on the test."

Adam smiles "I didn't even know scores went up that high! Oh, and get this, Mr. Davenport said if I passed, he'd buy me a car."

Tasha turns over to Davenport "What?!"

Davenport nervously smiles "Well, in my defense, I never thought he would pass."

Bree nods her head in agreement "Yeah, none of us did."

Adam smiles and leans back "Preachin' to the choir, people."

Tasha looks over at Davenport "Donald, are you sure he's ready for a car? You remember what happened when you bought him a bike?"

Davenport hisses and holds up his hands "Um... to be fair, honey, Adam is a lot more responsible now. He worked very hard to get his driver's license, and I think he should be rewarded."
