Death Spiral Smackdown

(Y/N) POV

After the whole being forgotten thing on Leo's birthday things have been going smoothly since I have forgiven everyone. This week Principle Perry is doing the death spiral smackdown, Leo has been going on all week about how he is for sure going to win this thing with Adam.

But what I'm getting at is he's thinking Adam's going to use his bionics and to be honest imma allowing him to keep thinking that. Since I know Adam doesn't want to cause he's so excited to see what he can do without them.

As of right now Im sitting next to Bree and Chase at the counter while Leo grabs some milk and orange juice from the fridge "After school today is the big Death Spiral Smackdown. Me and Adam are gonna unleash the fury!" we all just fake smile and nod our heads as Leo leans over onto his hand "You guys gonna come watch?"

"We'd love to, but we're gonna go to the mall and check out the escalator. I finally mastered the art of stepping off without tripping." Chase starts to cheer motioning to him and Bree.

"Ooh, um, were we supposed to do that today? Shoot, I-I can't make it. I have a really big test to study for." I look over at Bree and raise my eyebrow, I know she has nothing to study for, she was just telling me yesterday how she and her friends were going to hang out.

Chase's smile falls "What?" he sighs "Okay, fine. I just hope those old ladies are there again to clap for me."

Leo then looks at me "What about you?"

I nod my head "Yeah, I'll be there to cheer you both on"

"Your going for Adam aren't you" Leo comments

I nod my head growing an able in my hand and throwing it back and forth between my hands "Most definitely"

Leo shakes his head and starts to open a jar of cereal "Never had this cereal before."

Leo goes to put it into his bowl but Bree quickly stops him "No, Leo! Those are power pellets."

Leo looks at the pellets and then at Bree "I don't care what they're called, as long as they make my milk chocolaty." He starts to smile big at himself.

Chase leans forward "No. They're bite-sized pieces of adrenaline that activate our bionics."

"Yeah, but, we don't eat them any more because we learned how to activate them ourselves," Bree adds

Chase starts to chuckle "They taste like dog treats without the livery aftertaste." He smiles then looks at me, Bree and Leo "I'm guessing."

"Well, I guess I'll just have these." Leo goes to grab another box of cereal

Chase quickly takes it away "Careful, Leo! Those are Powdered Sugar Cookie Donut O's. Studies have shown they slow down your brain activity."

Adam walks into the kitchen and immediately gasps "Yummy Powdered Sugar Cookie Donut O's!" Adam starts to open the box while Chase shakes his head as him and Bree leave the room.

Adam walks over to me and kisses me on the head sitting down next to me as Leo speaks "So, Adam, here is our smackdown game plan. I will distract everyone while you use your bionics to crush our opponents."

Adam shakes his head messing with my fingers "I'm sorry, Leo, bionics are for missions. Using them for a school competition would just be wrong."

Leo then pouts "But... You have to use your bionics! It's the whole reason I chose you! It's the weapon part of our secret weapon!"

Adam looks at Leo and puffs out his bottom lip "Oh, bummer! You thought I was gonna use bionics, and then you blew off your old buddy Gordo! Coulda had yourself a green cape, dude."
