Chapter 2

Fourth felt his spine freeze at the thought of saying those words in front of the last person who needed to hear them.
He cast a lightning-fast glance at his friends, who began to giggle amongst themselves before slowly turning around, putting the most spontaneous smile on his face.
"Good to see you Gemini, you here too?" he said as he finally met the eyes of the taller man, accompanied by his usual friend, Pond.
It was not difficult to notice how the latter at the sight of Phuwin escaped with pleasure from his friend's side to approach the other boy leaning against the counter, who rolled his eyes and ordered another drink ready to feel the boy's stubborn flirtation.
Gemini slightly laughed at that little scene and then returned his gaze to Fourth.
"Yeah, I thought you saw me at the front door" Gemini replied, raising an eyebrow, knowing fully what game the boy was playing.
"Mh? No, no I don't think I saw you, you know I was busy between photos and autographs," Fourth smiled falsely, taking a sip of his drink.
Of course he had seen it.
Of course he had avoided him.
And that asshole knew it all too well.
"This drink is too damn light" he thought as he swallowed the liquid.
The taller one nodded, looking away to go and say hello to Satang and Phuwin.
And Fourth thanked God because in the crowd he saw a new person to run toward to get away from that situation.
He waved to his friends that he had to go and made his way through the crowd reaching his target.
The most beautiful target for him.
"Nanon!" he said raising his glass with the drink.
The older boy turned around smiling.
"Fourth, how nice to see you!" he replied, smiling in return.
The two exchanged those usual polite chats, and anyone in that room could see how the smaller one hung on the other's every word.
Nanon had always been a reference point for Fourth.
Being a few years older he had always been there for him in the early years and had always been open to help him in any situation.
The younger boy thought that he was a perfect creature.
He had never made a mistake, always had a perfect smile on his face, never ended up in scandal.
Nanon was everything Fourth wanted to be.

The interaction between the two obviously did not escape the friends that Fourth had just left nor even his "sworn enemy", who was now leaning against the counter.
"It seems Fourth has found his prince charming again," Satang told his friend, chuckling slightly.
"It's amazing how someone like him can melt so easily whenever Korapat comes into his line of sight," Phuwin replied in turn, taking a sip of his drink.
"What about you? Do you ever melt when you see me?" Pond asked with a grin to the boy who ended up choking on his own drink.
After wiping his mouth, he gave him a dirty look and then left with Satang, heading for the bathroom.
"You are really cheesy, Pond," Gemini said approaching his friend giggling.
"He'll give up one day, he's already in love, I can tell, I just have to push a little more," the boy said with a smirk, ordering a light drink to the barman.
Meanwhile, Gemini couldn't take his eyes off Fourth.
It always shocked him how his behavior could change from person to another.
Who was the real Fourth Nattawat?
Which version of him was the real one?

The rest of the night proceeded relatively smoothly if not for the many drinks Fourth had now in his system.
As much as Phuwin warned him to take it easy nothing could stop Fourth when it comes to alcohol.
Gemini's presence in every corner of the room disturbed him far too much, and the only way to get his mind off it was to keep drinking.
To forget? Absolutely not, it's just alcohol.
To make him feel lighter? Absolutely.
It only takes one smile from the taller one to make him feel like total shit.
Was he really better than him? Could he really win him over at any time? Is everything he had done since birth useless?
Questions over questions that were only answered with each drink that passed down his throat.
Drink after drink Fourth arrived at that state of total freshness of spirit.
Moving in time with the music along with his friends he interacted with all the guests, smiling as only he knew how.
He was incredible.
He could seduce anyone.
He had that look that the gods in the past would have envied, and everyone knew it well.
Anyone was entranced by his mannerisms, men and women lined up to just take a look into the boy's eyes.
Yet Fourth always needed more, more.
He might have sinned in greed but he wanted it all: the attention, the spotlight.
And god, he would get it no matter what.

"I know they're having a party not far from here, shall we go?" Phuwin said to his friends, taking a quick glance at his phone.
"If Earth finds me outside this building he'll probably lock me up in the house for the next month and half," Fourth said, looking at himself in the mirror of the bathroom they had taken refuge in just moments before.
"Then I say let's go celebrate your last day of freedom!" said Satang as he walked out of the cubicle of the bathroom smiling "It's Friday night, move your ass, let's go have some serious fun!" the friend continued and the other two could do nothing but agree, following their friend towards the exit.
