Chapter 6

Fourth woke up that Thursday morning with his usual hangover headache from the night before.
The day of departure for Phuket had, unfortunately, arrived and the boy, as his usual self, had decided to celebrate with his friends before the hellish journey he was about to face.
But what really woke him up was just the ringing of the phone announcing a call from his own mother.
The woman did not get in touch often; outside the work environment she had never been particularly present as a mother but much more as a manager.
And when she got tired of it she simply assigned the job to someone else.
The boy therefore hurried to answer, not wanting to keep his mother waiting.
"Mom!" he replied "good to hear from you..is everything all right? did something happen to Dad?" Fourth hurried to ask.
A call from the woman was actually so unexpected, she never reached him herself and if she needed to let him know something she simply had some of her assistants to call him.
"Fourth, honey, yes we are fine. I'm calling because I know you're leaving for Emme's service today right?" the mother asked, already knowing perfectly well the answer.
Fourth on the other side only gulped at his mother's tone.
"I know Norawit will be there too" the woman continued, "unfortunately I couldn't do anything to prevent it but Fourth, don't disappoint me." the boy felt a chill run down his spine at those words.
"I raised you to be a star and stars are never overshadowed by meteors you know that right? Be the best and make your family proud" the woman finished, ending the call without waiting for a response from her son who was now staring at the phone screen petrified.
He was a star.
Gemini was only a meteor.
Those words echoed in his head.
Star.
Meteor.
He awoke from his state of tranche only when he felt a tear coming down from his eye.
He got up quickly and ran to the bathroom to wash his face.
Looking in the mirror, his face still damp, he vowed that no Gemini Norawit could steal his spotlight, not now or ever.

After his usual morning routine, he dressed up and prepared for the departure.
Earth had already texted him an hour ago that he would be picking him up shortly to go to the airport and, thank god, those were the only occasions when Fourth was on time.
He collected in his briefcase only the things he knew would come in handy since everything else like the clothing or the makeup would be brought by the stylists themselves.
He finished getting everything ready just in time for Earth's phone call announcing that they had arrived at his house.
He quietly went downstairs by taking the elevator and, once he reached the car, he got in, leaving his suitcase with the driver.
He sat, as usual, in front of Earth, who was quickly typing something on his cell phone.
"If only you were on time even when we have appointments at my office my life would be much more peaceful" the man said receiving only a slight snort from the boy.
"What are you writing?" the younger asked, pointing with his head to the phone still in his hands.
The manager turned slightly red at the tips of his ears before answering.
"I was talking to Gemini's manager where are we arranging to meet at the airport" he replied quickly.
The boy nodded silently, obviously unconvinced by this story but decided to ignore it and began looking at his own phone.
Going through the messages he found the ones from his friends wishing him a safe journey (and good luck) along with tweets from fans who were already at the airport waiting for him.
"Fourth" Earth called his attention one more time "I'm sorry you got into this situation with Gemini you know but let's try to enjoy these days okay? Try to get him to like you just for five days, then you can continue to hate him for the rest of the year" the man finished saying, causing a slight smile to appear on the younger man's face.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to enjoy his presence to the fullest" Fourth replied with a wink, putting on his usual sunglasses and getting out of the car, flashing his best smile at the fans.
And Earth inwardly realized that he had not brought enough medicine for stress he was about to face.

Fourth walked through the airport doors looking around, followed by Earth and the other assistants who headed directly to check in their luggage.
"Okay so, we'll meet with Gemini and Mix directly at Gate B6" Earth said, looking too hard at his phone, as he risked running into all the passersby.
Meanwhile the younger, with a beaming smile, positioned next to him followed him, smiling from time to time at the fans and photographers.
Even mere passersby were captivated by his beauty; he made everyone's heads turn.
Fourth, when he has everyone attention, shone with his own light.
The people around him, like sunflowers, felt attracted by the light he emanated.
He felt like the only one in the spotlight again and, god, how he loved that feeling.
Obviously, however, at some point the spotlight must, of necessity, go out, and the heat inside Fourth began to diminish more and more.
Arriving near the gate, the boy caught a glimpse of Mix in the distance, already smiling sweetly at Earth, and Him.
With his perfect hair, a pair of jeans that perfectly wrapped his legs, a white tank top and an army green jacket covering his shoulders.
And that usual damn smile plastered on his face.
Fourth tried to mask a smile as best he could, ignoring the taller man's greeting by turning his attention only to MIx.
When the two managers isolated themselves to talk about "work," the boy found himself alone staring at the airplane runways outside the huge windows.
Fourth remembered when, as a child, his grandfather often helped him escape from the shootings and took him to watch the planes take off.
A slight smile formed on his lips as he thought back to those memories.
Who knows where that happiness that was created just by seeing a dull plane fly was now.
"Are you going to ignore me for all five days Nattawat?" a voice asked behind him causing him to flinch.
He turned slightly and instinctively rolled his eyes as he saw Gemini's face so much too close to his.
"If that-s what it takes to bring peace to my own person, yes, I will ignore you for all the next five days," the boy replied.
Gemini let out a slight laugh at the boy's reply.
"I don't think you'll be able to ignore me that much, whatever you do you always end up being drawn to me don't you see? Who knows, maybe at the end of this trip you will definitely fall for me" the taller one said, lowering himself to the other boy's level to look him better in the eyes.
Fourth felt himself on fire with rage.
Not even 20 minutes had passed and he was already thinking how to throw him off the plane without a parachute.
He gave one of the most fake smiles before answering him.
"No matter how hard you try, it seems like you're the one who doesn't know how to be without me. Maybe you'll be the one to become obsessed with me eventually, although it seems to me you're already halfway through it" the shorter one said winking at his direction before turning his vision to the window again.
Gemini snorted in amusement at the boy's brazenness as he turned to look out as well.
"Whatever gets you to sleep at night little star" he said before approaching Mix and Earth.
A shiver ran down Fourth's spine upon hearing that nickname.
Star.
Meteor.
He takes a long breath trying to get his mother's words out from his head.

The trip didn't have other problems mainly due to the fact that Fourth kept his distance from the other boy to preserve his peace of mind.
The fly didn't take long and in an hour and a half they landed in the beautiful Phuket.
They took a cab that drive them and all the staff to the resort where they would be staying.
And what can we say, it was a real treat for the eyes.
Fourth even thought of asking his father to buy him a house in the area.
They entered the reception hall and as the managers checked in Fourth took the opportunity to call his friends and seek comfort from them.
"Guys I hope you are going to pray every hour at the temple for me, I don't know how I'm going to survive in this cage," the boy said after getting away from the other.
"Stop complaining to us, in a few hours you'll have your ass on the beach i and we'll still be stuck here in Bangkok"Satang told him while sipping a coffee he had prepared just before.
Fourth mocked him by imitating his complaint, making the two friends laugh.
"Try not to make too much of a fuss, enjoy it as much as you can" Phuwin told him with a smile before he said goodbye to them as he saw Earth and Mix return with room keys.
"Okay then this is yours Gemini" Mix said handing him the keys.
"And these are yours" Earth said instead, turning to Fourth.
The younger one thanked and before Earth could give him any more stuff to do he waved goodbye, running to the elevator to lock himself in his room, as far away from Gemini as possible.
He looked at the room card that marked the number 304 and went up to the third floor, looking for the room with the corresponding number.
As soon as he found it he entered happily and flew himself on the comfortable bed, sighing.
He would have no plans until the next day so this was the perfect time to relax.
He got up from the bed only to head to the bathroom to take a relaxing shower.
After spending a good half hour in the bathroom he came out all clean and relaxed and while dressing in comfortable clothes he ordered himself some room service.
He took a glass of water and decided to wait outside on the balcony where the first colors of sunset were beginning to mark the sky.
Sipping from his glass he let the sea breeze tousle his hair, relaxing himself to the mixture of heat given by the sun and that coolness given by the slight breeze that made him slightly shiver.
"It really seems like fate doesn't want to keep us apart Nattawat."
At the sound of that voice Fourth automatically spit out the water in his mouth.
Oh, for fuck sake.
