Alexander James kogane was born October 23ed 2003, to heith kogane and an alien korila who is part of the blade of mamora and is a member of the galra race. He has a twin brother Keith kogane. Growing up he had a hard time hiding his alien form. Alex and Keith's mother left only a few months after the twins were born and their dad who was a firefighter disappeared after a fire when the twins were seven. The twins were sent to an orphanage and eventually both joined the galaxy garrison at 13. Keith instantly became close to takashi shirogane and started ignoring his twin which led to a fight between them.

Keith was kicked out of the garrison at 14 and Alex started to thrive without his brother constantly in his ear telling him he wasn't good at what he was doing. He eventually got put on a team with Mary mclaine and Matt Holt. They were the dream team acting every single thing they did. Eventually Alex and Matt stayed dating then the koberos mission happened and Matt was gone. At 16 Keith Alex's twin brother disappeared with takashi shierogane, lance mclaine, Katlyn Holt, and hunk.

Alex was 16 when he moved in with Adam who needed company and so did he, neither were in a good place. Alex and Mary ended up hooking up one night they both needed the pleasure and plus he thought Matt was dead and even then they had an open relationship. Two months later Mary found out she was pregnant she obviously flipped out Alex as well they were only sixteen! Adam offered them to stay with him. Ceil was born and he was beautiful Alex's pride he loved his son more then life.

In 2019 Alex was 17 when Adam called him out to the Landing zone. He saw a giant castle and the members of Voltron and a blonde boy Matt! He's back he's alive! Alex was so happy to have him back then he saw Keith who acted like nothing Happened. Alexander eventually agreed to come back into space with them for his mother and to find his dad he was happy matt and Adam tagged along!
